Bad service : manager sat us down and was unresponsive when we asked for menu, water etc. my wife’s dish was served 20 mins later than everyone’s else. Manager was non apologetic and didn’t seem interested to address it. Overall very poor customer service standard.

1919 has a very nice French dinner set meal that's affordable.

Came here for my anniversary and everything about the experience was great! The place has a classy, cosy ambience with great view which makes it perfect for dates. Unlike other fine dining restaurants, the portions here were not puny. Loved every single thing I tried, in particular the foie gras and iberico pork rack. The pork had a very flavourful herb crust and the portion was sizeable. I normally don't quite like chocolate mousse because it's too creamy and light for my liking but the one here was dense and rich! My only complaint is that they're kindo f stingy with their bread - we were each given one piece and when we asked for more, we were told that it was chargeable, which isn't the case at a lot of other restaruants. The wine selection also wasn't really to my liking as they did not have lighter/sweeter options like moscato and sparkling wine.

Great ambience and service. Upon learning that my girlfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary, the restaurant manager kindly offered to spring a simple surprise for my girlfriend, leaving us throughly thrilled at the entire experience.

Nice ambience n food ok. Had higher expectations considering the price of the 4-course set dinner. The waiter should hv warned us before hand of the very bitter coffee despite us adding sugar. All 3 of us merely took a sip n the coffee were left to waste.

Food is not spectacular. Nice location though and rooftop bar.

Four course dinner for vday, food was all served cold, almost thought I was having an all salad meal for vday. Waiting staff were fine but kitchen definitely didn’t meet the mark of a basic restaurant.

From the time we walk in till we finished our dinner, everything were great! Even though there was a large group having dinner and quite noisy, we still enjoyed ourselves! The food was delicious and that include the dessert! It was our first time patronised there and yes, we will definitely going there again!

Reached 20min before lunch kitchen closes but staff were still very helpful and allowed us to order from the set lunch. Food took a while to come, but we didnt mind as ambience was good.

First dining at 1919 Waterboat House. Was impressed by the level of service and the standard of food was awesome. Atmosphere & ambience were also worthy of a mention. Would have been perfect if food portion was slightly larger. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.

Charming service from the Maitre'd and the ambience was excellent. Prices reasonable for the set menu 3 or 4 courses , food was superb. Nice to start with a drink on the rooftop bar and take in the view and the Singapore city atmosphere with great view of the Marina Bay. Our vegetarian in the party was disappointed in the lack of visible vegetarian dishes on the menu until the policy of "whatever you would like us to prepare" was proposed and a personally cooked by the chef, and a perfect truffled mushroom risotto was forthcoming...Highly recommended

Overall good ambience , Noticed that most of the customers are there for some special occasion. On the same night I saw a few other tables of customers also celebrating birthday .

We arrived at opening and let the restaurant staff know (not just the host) that we needed to be out promptly at a specified time because we had theatre tickets. We were told that there was no problem with our menu choices and the pace was up to us. Most of the meal was paced pretty well but towards the end, when there were more people there (still more than half empty, but fully staffed), we had a difficult time. One dish was completely forgotten, and we had to give it a pass because it would have delayed us. I stopped one member of the staff just as she was about to pour water into my glass of wine. Towards the end of the meal, after a long lag, we had to ask repeatedly for the dessert we had ordered, and the check. We had 2-3 minutes to eat dessert and then had to go chasing to get my credit card back. Meanwhile we could see staff helping other tables to take photos with their phones. There was no need to make the end of our meal unpleasantly stressful. The food was fine, nothing amazing (the halibut was quite good). At this price point - and given the assurances we had when we sat down - it was reasonable for us to expect a smooth experience; alas that was not what we got.

Quiet place, great food and service. Reasonable price. Not much view in the afternoon.

Nice place for lunch. Service is good. The seafood platter, might want to consider using less oranges as it affects the taste of the seafood.
