Really tasty food. Authentic Indian flavours and great service. We are regulars and will definitely be back again. Also great for the kids as they have their own kiddie corner so the adults can eat in peace!
Child friendly restaurant. Staff are friendly. Food is good. Overall very happy with the experienced. Will come back again and will introduce to my friend.
Food was great as usual! Will definitely be bringing more loved ones here. Keep it up Zaffron Kitchen!
foood was good, so was the service. The staff was very accommodating.Very clean and the ambience was good as well. Overall, a fantastic place to take your family to dinner.
Great food, great service! Will definitely be back for more!
The food were tasty and well presented and the staff were friendly. The children corner was helpful as it allowed my kid to play while we enjoyed dinner.
Great speedy service. Food came fast and was child friendly with a small play area. Only bug was the kid's meal I order (chicken wrap), the skin was too thick and hard for my 6 year old kid to bite off. Our chicken curry and mutton masala, garlic and special Zaffron naan and bryani were very fresh and tasted great!
Great ambience and great food! The best indian food so far that i have eaten. Would recommend friends to go. Thumbs up. Good service too!
Lovely food but limited wine available as out of stock. Service was very good, although I felt safe should have explained I made my order through the iPad as this was not clear
Great indian food at convenient location. Servers were nice and self ordering system via ipad was a breeze to use. Pity the children play corner has been dismantled.
Good food that is flavorful. There are dishes that are non-spicy, so there is something on the menu for the whole family. Service a bit slow tonight in terms of getting our menus, cutlery and refill of water. But would return for the food.
Food was too expensive for the mini portions they served. however taste and service was acceptable. Paid $72+ for 2 people. Wasn't even full after dinner after paying so much.
I enjoyed dining at this restaurant. Food is great and ambiance is lovely too. They have a really baby-friendly kids corner too which is great for our toddler. Also, we had a big group of friends over and we stayed a little too long (since they were switching off the light and the staff were having their meals) but no complains at all, in fact they were really grateful and warm. Highly recommend this place. Good food and even greater staff. Thank you Zaffron Kitchen East Coast for accommodating us on my birthday, it was awesome!
Great food, but really expensive, plus you have to order yourself on an ipad, then pay for service as well, it should be one or other, not both!
Food was great! Service was fast. I just hoped that we were seated in the inside. The place wasn't filled even after we finished eating.
Great venue for a family dinner. Our group had four adults and three kids. It's nice that the menu offers items for kids, like burgers and fish & chips. The kids play area kept them entertained before and after the meal! The food was quite good. We had the papsi chaat, butter chicken, mutton rogan josh, palak paneer, Jaipur veggies, mutton biryani, three kinds of naan, an order of tandoori roti, 3 kids meals, a passion fruit lassi and a bottle of red wine. The bill was about $220, which is on the high side but then again, North Indian food is usually a little pricey. The only improvement to be made is the water. We asked for warm water to make a bottle of milk for out toddler, and the server refilled our glasses of ice water with the warm water as well. Unfortunately the water tasted like coffee because it was probably taken from the same machine used for coffee. As it was already the end of our meal, we didn't bother asking the servers to replace the water. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The food was tasty and had the perfect amount of spice (we selected the More Spicy option) and wasn't too pungent. A great place to take a family with kids.
Always great food and timely service. A local family Favourite.
The food was great and so was the ambience. It was a perfect little place for little kids. My nieces had too much fun in the play area. We felt that the space allocated to us was a little cramp as we had a pram with us which was under the Aircon vent. We requested for a different area but a waiter refused as apparently its meant for 10 people . There were 4 of us with 3 kids. Throughout the entire stay there, we notice the table was empty. It would have been really a great experience if we were allowed extra comfort. My baby had to be with us as we can't put him under the air con vent.
I'm going every month with my friends. They serve tasty Indian food, it's very easy to order with a tablet. The decoration is modern and the staff efficient.
The drink service was a little slow but having the kids entertained in the kiddies corner made up for it. Food is good
One of our favorite restaurant to dine, easy booking, easy ordering, food is consistent. Naan portion could be better though, but overall still a great place to dine.
restaurant great, however approach to service was somewhat unusual, use an iPad to order everything, we had to wait 25 minutes for a drink, not ideal, with waiters standing talking, when asked if we could order a drink we were told how to order by iPad! I iAd given between 4 asked for another. Difficult to know what you have overall and also pollution sizes. Overall good ok, not service
This Indian restaurant serves good and tastefull Indian food, easy ordering with provided ipad, friendly staff and modern decorated restaurant we will come back soon!
Poor service as you need to ask for water, none will be given otherwise. Besides that, when I asked for a place to put my bag, the waiter said "if everyone asked for a chair to put your bag, we won't have enough chairs".
Air con was not really working so it was a bit warm. Staff were not attentive, we had to call them for basic service such as water and refill. Food was good and reasonably priced. A family-oriented restaurant with a children's playgound corner.
food was good. great play area for kids. gives parents some alone time. but do go a little early. can get pretty crowded after 730/800pm...
Like their ordering system, everything digital. Food was great, we ordered samosa, chicken tikka, Rice, all taste good. The main course came a bit slow, there were only few chef and food could take 45mins to come if restaurant is busy. So if you don't mind the wait, you could give it a try.
Excellent food, great for kids as it has a nice play area in the corner
Good food, okay prices. Service becomes better but still does not pay enough attention (finding a staff to refill my iced water took more then 5 minutes, usually that happens without asking...). Still very good and worth a visits
Food was fantastic and the portions generous. Service staff was even better - very attentive. Great place for a night out, will be coming back again!
Staff have attitude but food is amazing, would definitely recommend if you're looking for good North Indian food.
Excellent food and my guests really enjoyed the dining experience
Our dinner yesterday was fantastic at Zaffron Kitchen. Food was great. Each item was delicious. My youngest one also enjoyed playing with other kids at the small play area they have. Will definitely go back soon.
Delicious, clean and child friendly perfect Indian restaurant. Both adults and young children really enjoyed.
Great restaurant. Casual atmosphere, attentive and efficient service and very good Indian food. Always busy and a great place to bring kids: they have a kids corner to entertain little ones while you eat and drink. Recommend this to anyone.
Food was good but the tandoori chicken was a little over cooked.
Excellent food. Although service is a bit slow (in terms of waiting time for food), but it is worth the wait!
The service was great. The food never fails to please! A variety of dishes to choose from, even vegetarian ones! Everyone should try their briyani!
Love the ambient, food is nice and their brayani chicken is really awesome. The only bad negative feedback is the service crews are not friendly.
The food is definitely nice but the part I hate is the area around restroom it stinks yuckkkkk:((
Great food. They even have an play area for kids.
Food is great but service is quite slow. Favourite Indian restaurant in the east!
for 2 persons, we ordered the Dun Chicken briyan rice which was good and butter chicken. The butter chicken would taste better if it wa snot so buttery, too thick for my liking.
Excellent food and great service. Garlic naan and dhal makhani are absolutely awesome. Chicken tikka masala is also one of our favourites there. The waiters are always ready to help and some of them are extremely helpful. The place also has a mini playground for kids
Service a bit slow. Portions a bit small. Prices are affordable. Taste average. Décor decent. This was my first time in the restaurant and it somehow didn't live up to my expectations
Not happy with the ambience, the table was reserved but still dirty when we sat on it. Not a very good first impression. The toilets were that clean.
Great food and good environment for kids. Will be back.
Samosas were good and crunchy. Chicken tikka was very moist and done to perfection. The lamb was good, although a bit salty and Kashmiri naan was just delicious. Good food, service and ambiance at the restaurant. Parking was a hassle. Reasonably priced, definitely recommend the place.
The food tasted all right and the fish masala was good. Some portions such as the chicken are on the small side. The service was fine.
I do not want to give even 1 point for this restaurant. I went to Zaffron Kitchen on 1st of January, 2015. I wanted to make my boyfriend's birthday lunch to be perfect but I failed "thanks to" Zaffron Kitchen. It was my the worst dining experience ever. I asked nice seats when I made a reservation but they didn't give us even better seats. The table was so close to the door which is only for staff and I had to see that staff go in and out door during whole time. We went into the restaurant at 12 pm and we got our foods around 1 pm. Yes, we ordered a little bit late but they let us know one menu was sold out very late and I think they started cooking after they got our order. Even if I asked why our foods were late and people who came here later than us already had their foods, the guy looked not sorry at all, there was only excuse. Foods were good? I cannot enjoy foods when I am angry even though the foods are nice. I only remember not hot foods only fold foods there. I cannot forget my experience in Zaffron Kitchen. I do not want to go there again and I do not recommend this place because of the bad and poor service and their manner of serving the customers.
