Good food, enjoyable atmosphere and nice service. The environment will improve when the building is complete. I hope the restaurant can survive the competition given the number of good steak houses in singapore.

The spring lamb half rack was perfectly done and it was so good with no gamey taste at all. The prix fixe lunch menu was great value for money and I will definitely return!

Ordered lamb rack and apple crumble - Lamb was great and dessert was perfect! Service was good too and we were able to see the chefs preparing food in the kitchen while enjoying the food.

We started with the salad and the chowder soup, both were excellent. Absolutely nothing to complain about. The lamb and the rib-eye were both grilled to perfection. My family and I had a very enjoyable evening.

Definitely a good level of service from attentive staff. The food did not live up to expectations that was built up from reading previous reviews.

good food and service but should have more attention on the time to serve the food. But overall, the staff had done a good job

Wonderful ocean beef ribeye and spring lamb. We were also pleasantly surprised at the Apple Crumple and Flat White because we did not have high expectations of dessert and coffee given that this is primarily a steak place. Service was impeccable but the location is a bit tricky; you need to get to the correct lift lobby. :)

1. Took them a while to serve the main course, about 33-40 minutes. 2. Re the Wakanui Selection Plate. They kept the rib eye weight intact, but “sneakily” reduced the lamb portions from 4 pieces to 2, (compared to what they served 2 months ago) but kept the price intact at $268. Don’t think we will go back again as we find Wolfgang Steak House offer much better value, with a fine dining experience atmosphere complete with table cloth.

Was noisy so they proactively moved us to a less noisy table. First lamb chop was overdone and second replacement was perfect! Great service and worthy of return visit!

Food Quality was excellent - portion though is smaller than expected from a fine dining restaurant. Waiting time was long - 30 mins for soup to serve. about 45 mins later for the main to be served. Service staff - very friendly and patient to us when taking our orders, appreciate that.

Very Good service and nice atmosphere . The lamb is excellent. The chefs special steak is interesting but a little bland and is not a stand out.

WAKANUI has a good atmosphere. My wife likes a dressing of green salad. My son likes ribeye cut 500g.I like not only ribeye but also grass-fed fillet. We are very much looking forward to having lum-chop agein.

The meat was of very good quality and prepared very well. The lamb was exceptionally good. Service was attentive and the wine was reasonably priced.

Good food, reasonably priced set lunch. Appetizer lamb chop was good. Attentive service staff. It was a bit chilly in the restaurant. It would be better if the set lunch menu was given with the a la carte menu. We had to ask for the set lunch menu.

Impeccable service and food served. Ordered 2 glasses of wine, one serving of smoked salmon, half lamb rack and hokey pokey icecream to share with partner. In particular, I enjoyed the lamb rack and smoked salmon the most.

Good restaurant. The dning space has become much bigger and cozier than the previus outlet in Boat Quay. It is recomended for various occasions, such as dating and business dinner.

Firstly, the location of the restaurant is not that easy to find. The receptionist seems to be quite new to the industry and seem to be a little blur. Itoh san provided great service to us and brought the chef to every table to hear reviews about the food at the end of the dinner. Food was great. Best dish of the day was the salmon! Really soft, fresh and juicy. Our medium rare steaks were well cooked. Spent $771 for 3 people, including 2 bottles of red wine. Not a bad deal.

Great place with quality food. Place is small and cosy, love the woody interior. Portion is a bit small but otherwise, a very satisfactory meal.

The ambiance is good and the entrance primed me for a good experience. I got that feeling. After seated, a waiter with wine expertise guide us thru how to go about combining pur food with wine. Our food was so good, especially the rib eye cut and the lamb sticks.

Overpriced and very very average steak - would not recommend. Apparently a 'NZ Japanese concept' but wouldn't have known that had someone not told us -

Enjoyed the grilled meats and wine, excellent services all around. I especially enjoyed the lamb chops and Chateau Monviel 2008. The grilling on the bone-in ribeye and fillet are perfect medium rare, though I would have preferred a bit more char and burnt ends. All in all a wonderful evening if you don't mind the prices.

The beef was just delicious. The wine list has some very nice New Zealand wines. Staff are very professional. The room could do with a bit of “warming” up: a little dark.

Some people cannot eat beaf because of religion. So I think you already have ram meat menu, that is very good, but I think you should have some kind of chicken meat menu.

Food was excellent, well worth the price. Loved the ambiance and service level of the staff. Restaurant was a tad isolated - probably the only restaurant operating in the whole building. Would definitely visit again nonetheless.
