The food was ok but very slow service. The food was a bit expensive though it was quite nice. Would be better if slightly cheaper
The food is great as usual! Recommendations are to order the glass noodles, grilled saba, pollack pancake. However, the stews are less tasty than some other korean restos. Also again as usual, service is a little poor... the "boss" wasn't very friendly, seemed impatient too.
the bibimbap slip off from the waiter's hand n fall on the table. had a shock.. we could have been scalded. waiter should be more careful.
The food is so so only, not as others people review. Maybe can try others dishes for next visit. Food been serve very slow, waitress service still ok..
Pretty decent. I am not so sure if the food is good, as I am not good at judging food. But my girl says it is good! So it’s good for me too. The people running the place are Koreans and also, lots of Koreans come here to eat. I managed to have a peek at one of the table’s bill which amounted to 2K+. It kinda says something eh. So if you’re still hesitating, just give this place a try. Did I mention that you’ll get a cool “membership” card, with the cost of your meal printed on it, like the one you’d get when you play initial D at arcades?!?!
Great food and service. Our corner was a bit dark in terms of lighting, but still bearable. It was a bit noisy cos there were a lot of people but that just shows how popular the restaurant is. :)
The food is delicious and i will definitely go back again. It will be good if the staff can be more friendly and attentive to customer needs.
Food was good especially the leek and squid pancakes. However service needs to improve as water was not served unlike my previous visit. Had to ask three times before it finally came.
Lots of Korean food with kinds of free side dishes. Inside interior is almost same as old Korean house which was made of straw for the roof. Good taste and atmosphere.
A bit expensive. We ordered too much but the staff never remind us it's too much for two girls. Recommend for groups dining the portion is too much for two.
friend celebrated his engagement there, stews were good, seafood pancake was great,, decent bbq dishes, nice private room for a group to sit. very pleased.
d e c e n t f o o d. A l r i g h t s e r v i c e .
Overall is good, however when we requested to change a bigger table, it was rejected and mentioned booked by others, however we noticed the bigger space table was split into two tables (it seems like 2 different group / family).
Yummy home cooked korean food feel. Not as crowded recently as before, makes for a better dining experience. Price is on steep side. Portions humongous! Good to share.
Great food with Good Service. This is N Not the 1st time visiting this restaurant. Would visit again. 1st time using this App. It is easy to use and convenient.
Service was good and quick, the only downside is that the table positionings are a bit awkward and you might get a corner table where its hard for you to move around.
A little expensive but the quality of the food is authentic and delicious. Service is prompt and waiting time for food is decent. Might return
Had a great time! Enjoyed the Korean pancake which is crispy. The bibimbap also tastes as authentic as what can be found in Korea. Would come back again.
Service staff were not friendly and overall standard is lower than expected. Food is good but overall experience can be better. Saw a few unhappy customers.
Came here with two other friends after some CNY shopping at Chinatown. The last time I came was 2 years ago and food was very good then. This time, we ordered the seafood pancake, jap chae, spicy tofu soup and the Korean fish cake set. Food quality has dropped drastically and they forgot our jap chae and seafood pancake orders until we reminded them for the second time. And service was poor.
Food was good for value, however they seemed to be understaffed.
Location is great with just walking distant from Chinatown. Food is reasonable good and price consider the portion is huge.
We ordered Cheese dak galbi, seafood pancake , and tofu stew. The food were awesome. Portion was big, it was very filling though we have 4 people.
Seafood pancake still the best in Singapore! But the cheesy chicken dish has too many vegetables and not enough cheese. Great portion sizes, and good for sharing
Nice atmosphere and the food there is nice too! Definitely worth going back.
The food is authentic and the mushroom beef we ordered was generous in portion such that my two kids and I could not finish. The side dishes were delectable as well. Pricing is higher than its neighbours and those around Raffles Place I would say but I suppose they make it up with the portions and their authentic taste. On a Sunday night they were understaffed such that we had to walk to them to obtain refills.
The food is a bit expensive, but environment is good. Hope can visit this restaurant again next time. Haha haha Haha haha .. .. ..
Delicious food, prompt service. Each table had a bell diners could use to alert servers. Restaurant also provided candles for our birthday celebration. Overall a great meal
Very nice food! Good customer service as staffs are very attentive. Would strongly recommend people to come here. Do try their pancakes and Korean stew!
The army stew was good and the side dishes were nice but the ginseng chicken requires more work. Restaurant was quite overwhelmed by the full house so be prepared to wait a bit during peak hours.
great food on sunday evening with friends. service was a little slow and they didnt hace the chestnut wine which is a shame. will still return.
Food quality was excellent and ambience was like a restaurant in Korea.
They serve very juicy beef ribs here, chap chye was yummy and good value for money. Will recommend this place for family with kids too.
Good food, great ambience. Wouldn’t mind coming back! As I cannot eat food that is too spicy, the staff was very accommodating to reduce the spiciness level of our food! The side dishes were delicious as well.
Disappointed , foods are overpriced and services are slow .Many korean restaurants along the same area that should offer better options.
I went there with my family. They have good ambience. It can be a romantic place too for couples. The food and service are great too.
Restaurant was crowded but service was still quick and responsive. Food was nice - banchan were refillable and the army stew was well fit for 2-4 pax. Good experience!
Rather costly but the quality and quantity made the meal worth. And for that, do come in larger group so that you can have a spread
Decent korean food with reasonable prices. Had the seafood pancake, bu dae jji gae and ginseng chicken soup. The pancake is quite well done with quite a good portion of seafood.
The restaurant seems overwhelmed that it was hard to get the waiter who always come with a black face. Not pleased with the service but the food was authentic and tasty just like many other restaurants along that area.
I had a total of 12 pax, we were brought into a room it was kinda squeeze but the ambience was damn good like privacy and stuff. The food is super good as well as the service of the staff. However, the food during dinner time is on the pricey side so do bring extra cash.
Good food at reasonable price. Table a bit small for a family of 6 or 7 adults. However, will visit again. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Authentic korean food with an extensive menu. We had pancake and stew. Good attentive service and very cozy place. Will be back for more! (:
The staff were really friendly, recommended appropriate portions for 2 people. The ambience was great too! It would be great if they extended their lunch sets to dinner too
We had bibimbap and kimchi jeon gol. As the two of us are not big eaters, we couldn’t quite finish the food since they were in huge portions. Spent over $60 for that. Food was alright, but the environment was quite cosy.
Always my go to place for legit Korean food. Rest assured that you'll leave the place feeling satiated and ready to go back home feeling happy. Pls keep the standard and don't let it fall..
No Long waiting time for food . Service was ok only but probably understaff as it was a Monday night
Overall its a authentic korean restaurant with very comfortable ambience to chill with friends, colleagues, or date. food was good, loving the bo ssam! Will return :)
The food was great. The bo ssam just melted in your mouth! The service staff was attentive, quick and good. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, being my first time there
Great authentic Korean food and atmosphere! Menu is a little on the pricier side for Korean ala carte dishes. But I guess for the satisfactory meal, it was still worth it. The oden fish cake stew was awesome! Hope they can have more flavors of drinks like Soju and Makgeolli next time.
