the food is very appetizing. staff are very polite and friendly. a very great place to chill with your friends and family
Great atmosphere n food and music. Suitable for all ages
Superb for meet ups with friends! Have a great time and service is also impeccable. Would visit again for sure!
Food was good and coupled with music, we will dine there again
Food is great as always, but getting expensive. The sound levels were ok until the band started. Band is good but not great if you wish to have conversations!
Nice place and ambiance for music and drinks. Affordable and tasty food options available.
A bit too loud of live music, so everybody else talk on top of it
great place to chill and have a drink! nice ambience and bar food
It was a pleasant meal, nothing particularly memorable. Had the garlic prawn aglio olio… rather overpriced at $24++ and a super meh Kasturi Mint cocktail at $16++. They had also asked for a credit card to hold on to which I found surprising and unusual but I guess it’s still more of a bar/pub and drunk dine-and-dashers are not uncommon… But what if I don’t have any physical cards with me nor cash as I mostly use ApplePay ?! I’ve to leave my phone with them?
Fun and relaxing ambience. Good for hangouts though a bit noisy for conversations.
Friendly Staff, good live band and good food cosy place
It was alright. We were there on a quieter day and with quite a few staff available/free, it felt like the staff was hovering which made meal time a bit uncomfortable especially when staff could’ve stood further away instead of directly behind us.
quite a nice place to enjoy and relax can come
Been visiting this place for a couple of times already. Good music and food in the area.
This is our first visit and we celebrated our 16 year old son’s birthday there. We ordered the burnt cheese cake as it’s the only cake there. The staff prepared a scoop of ice cream and a candle, got the live band to sing a birthday song! The food options are unique. The garlic prawn Aglio olio was yummy! The truffle fries were very crispy. The mocktail Strawberry Yummy tasted nice! The staff there were very friendly especially Imran! He was very helpful and created the surprise!
Nice ambience and friendly staff. Not super crowded and food is quite nice too
This is a great restaurant for chilling with friends and enjoying time with your date, highly recommend
This restaurant is pretty great for small group gatherings and partys
Nice evening at Tipsy Penguin. Food was tasty, the better dishes were beef horfun, mala chicken, fermented pork
My usual chill out place with friends. Love the live band and nice food.
very fast! beer and cocktails were good and service was friendly
Great ambience, variety of food selection is good. Try the Hokkien noodle!
great songs and ambience! will be difficult to chitchat so you can opt for outdoor seating for that! the food is awesome too
Nice place to merry and chill and drink with friends
Good atmosphere even if the price is on the higher end depending on location
Step into the vibrant world of tipsy penguin where live music sets the stage for an unforgettable evening. Nestled in the heart of tampines, this establishment delivers a sensory feast for music enthusiasts and cocktails lovers. Friendly staff and a lively atmosphere ensure a night filled with laughter and memories to cherish.
Price on the higher end despite the location and drinks not as cheap
Good service. Great for big group casual dining. Food selection is great
Great food, very attentive service, good live music. Unfortunately slightly marred by a very noisy table playing games beside us, even when the band was doing their set.
Fantastic experience at Tipsy Penguin via Quandoo! The food was top-notch, and the live band added a vibrant atmosphere. Highly recommended!
sound system was not good thepasserby live band sounded muffled food was great as usual
Went there for a mini date night. Service and ambiance were great. Would totally visit it again, but will need to make a reservation especially over the weekends.
Their ordering app needs to be improved. Everything else is good.
Food portion were good and taste was decent. Will come again
not bad, singer is quite funny and the songs are nice
Was a great night with a live band singing the crowd favourites!
Always a great place to catch up with friends over casual drinks!
lovely place with lovely music and food. service superb and on point.
overall, everything is as expected as this isn't my first visit to penguin.
Overall great vibes, live music were good, oysters were fresh. Truly very vibey!
We had an okay time here. The music was a bit too loud, but the resident singer sang well.
Great vibes and good food. Will come again soon hehe
Not as good as Tipsy Flamingo but it still has some of the Tipsy atmosphere. Sunday evening at 6pm is quite quiet and less crowded.
Almosphere is good , Food is not bad Music is ok
This place surprised me with the quality food it serves! Dishes that worth mentioning are: Mala Chicken Karaage, Mala Stingray, fish and chips and the oysters! The mala chicken karaage seriously mind blowing! Chicken is tender and juicy and the seasoning packs a punch which is also flavourful! It is my must-order whenever I visit this restaurant. Oysters are fresh and plump! Fish and chips has a twist and it surprises me that it goes so well with the mala paste! We enjoyed the live band, but wish that we were given a table further away from the stage as the music was too loud. The band did play 1-2 of our song dedications and that was great.
Ok, food is good. Will return next time ok! Good
Dining in at Tipsy Penguin whether for drinks or for a meal is always a delight. Service is impeccable, the entertainment is always on point, and the food is pretty good if I say so myself. Always happy to be back.
Having eaten at the Tipsy Flamingo in Raffles City, we decided to organize a birthday dinner here for my sister and her hubby. Prices were reasonable, and portions were generous, though the food was just mostly okay. They had two starters for $22, and we ordered the honey soy wings and fermented pork belly. The pork belly was tasty and crispy, especially with the mayo, but the chicken had some freezer burn. The seabass with truffle was nice, but was surprisingly a small dish for a main, without any carbs. The crabmeat capellini tasted nice, but the pasta was overcooked and therefore on the soggy side. We had two portions of the cornflake crusted chicken - the chicken did taste again of freezer burn, but this was largely hidden by the lovely sauce. The fries with truffles were delish. They do charge $1 for water, but this is refillable. The iced lemon tea came out of a can, while the Erdinger was okay. Overall, it was an okay meal in a pub like atmosphere, with dark lighting and friendly staff.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Food was good and reasonably priced. Definitely a keeper.
Some of the food items aren't bad. If you're looking for a place to chit chat then this isn't the place for you.
