Enjoyable! The staff were very friendly and helpful and patient, explaining the games, and if there were any parts of the games that they weren't sure of, they were humble to admit and directed us to other staff/other sources for help.

Staff was not friendly. He was more of impatient and bad in explaining the games. I had a better experience in Funan branch though where the staff was meticulous and helpful.

The service was poor. They didn't inform those who have reserve that they will be closing early a few days before. Quite a number of the food in the menu is not available.

Place was understaffed. The aircon was leaking but staff did not put a sign or rearranged the tables. Service could be better. Price for the festive season was reasonable.

Service is quite slow as only one staff who needs to be at the counter and the same staff who also needs to takes in order and do the serving but great for bonding session. Would definitely comes back with bigger group.

Awesome! Had my Christmas celebration there. Will definitely go again. However the downside is.... The ice lemon tea is too sweet. Very syrupy kind of feel.

Wide variety of board games at a very reasonable price. This place has almost every board/card game you can think of. Great for a day out with families and friends!

It is fun in there, however the meals and the Christmas promo was quite terrible. i might want to go back again, but unsure, since it is too expensive.

It was alright. Would be great if there's at least one staff that knows how to play all the games, so we wouldn't have to figure it out ourselves. Overall it's bearable:)

The service at the DG outlet wasn't as good as the Funan outlet. And the games were missing instructions and vital pieces. We weren't recommended any games either.

The staff was very understanding when four of our members couldn't come. Just a slight downside is that the place was rather noisy, and I understand that it's because of the crowd, but if it were possible to place some 'cushion' material to soften the walls, I think that the noise rebound would be lesser :)

It was a good experience. However as it was a weekend, it was pretty crowded and not enough staff were around. Nonetheless the service was good.

Ambiance isn't as great as the funan branch. The place feels a little flat, looks more like an eatery rather than a place to chill and to play board games. The place is also too narrow so there are limited types of seating. As such we couldn't get a big round table which will facilitate games for big groups. However, the service was good, the staff were proactive in recommending games there catered to our size (14). I was, however, disappointed that some of the games that were in the process of being decommissioned due to wear and tear were not replaced for us to play, as some of the decommissioned games were quite interesting.

It was very crowded but luckily through Quandoo, we had a table reserved for us. Everything was in perfect order, although serving of drinks could be done a little faster:) The games were fun.

TABOO CARDS VERY MIXED UP AND USED. BUT GENERALLY NICE FOR BIGGER GROUPS. NO ALCOHOL BUT NOT HALAL. BETTER TO BE HALAL SO WE CAN DO MORE COLLECTIVE EVENTS

The cafe is easily accesible and air-conditioned. It's also Muslim-friendly as the Bencoolen Mosque is a 5min walk away. However the tables are too close to each other and the menu isn't halal-certified.

Service was slow. When we tried getting the attention of the staff the first time,we were ignored. 2nd time we tried getting his attention he said "i am busy". The 3rd time we tried getting his attention, he tsk-ed us and finally came to get our order. The food came to us cold. Wth?

The Duck Spaghetti is awesome! Just a bit pity that the tiger prawns are not available. There are a lot of different type of games, which is very fun. My friends and I had a very fun time! The rate was affordable for us, so we would definitely visit The Mind Café again! :D

It's a reasonably cheap place to spend time with your family. Would have rated better if the games are newer and the staff can give advice on the games.

Reserved for 4 and table given was so small. We had to place our drinks on the floor while playing. We ordered for the free flow snacks for 3 hrs. Some staff had no initiative and were reluctant to help us top up our snacks and drinks. In the end, we had to help ourselves. And when we did, the staff were unhappy with it and that we were taking too much. Since we have already ordered for free flow as published on their menu, why are we still being limited to a quantity? Also, we chose a game that we did not understand and asked for help from one of the staff. He dismissed us by saying that he did not know how to play the game too and that another staff that knew, was not working on that day. He left us as it is and we had to google to figure out how to play the game. Me and my friends were shocked at the service given to us. Understand that there is a crowd, but is it not common sense to increase your manpower during peak hours, especially on weekends? We were very much disappointed with our visit. Our bill totaled to $70 for 4 in 3hrs, this is quite pricey since most of their customers are student-aged.

Ambience was ok.. price reasonable.. Got a staff to recommend some games, which he did.. unfortunately he was not that patient and sort of rude making remarks like "if you dont know how to play this game u wont be able to play any other games".. repeatedly.. which was in itself a turnoff.. who would want to play a particular boardgame after someone make such remarks.. it just spoils the whole mood..

My boyfriend and I went there at 8:30 and were told soon after that there were no more drinks beside ice lemon tea and maybe coke float. When we requested for help on how to play a few games, the waiter did not know any of the games. The aircon in the couch room was also spoiled. Lastly, there are way too little 2 player games.

Friendly staff, interesting concept.. My hubby and I had a very gd time there. The set meals are totally worth it.. Though the iced latte I had was watery and tasteless... Better go for a hot drink next time I think. The chicken lasagna we had was too good... Bursting with flavours.. But the cheese baked rice was a huge let down as it had not salt at all. An awesome place to spend hours having fun.

good variety of board games; had quite a lot of fun! :) food service was slow though and the small space made the noise from neighboring tables jarring and difficult to ignore.
