Food was decent, but pricey. The staff couldn't seem to get our orders right. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, but it was hard to get attention to fix our order and our grill.

The service personnel (UBEN) was very attentive and patient when attending to my enquiries. Salmon sashimi was great! Beef was tender and salad served was fantastic. 👍🏼

Overall, staffs were really attentive and service was prompt. They changed the grill for us a few times without having to be asked. However, note that we went on a weekday night where there was realtors very less customers. The food was up to expectations too.

Food was great! However, while taking orders, the service staff was overly enthusiastic with pushing for the set meal without taking to pause to really listen to what i wanted to find out. Had to interrupt the waiter twice to get his attention.

Nice meats. Not much generated smoke from the BBQ which is good. Attentive service as manager promptly added more charcoal when the heat is low.

Food was great, service was slow as we were at the end of the restaurant where hardly any staff there. Have to wait for a long time to see one staff pass by once your food are served. I had my friend kids to walk out to call for service.

The food is awesome, especially the beef! Very value for money. But we were seated in the extreme corner so waiters didn't really pay much attention to us.

Pretty decent a la carte bbq buffet - included wagyu cuts, prawns (next table had quite a few plates), pork and sashimi. As we were there mostly for the beef, that was mostly what we ordered. Food was fresh, and if needed, they'd change your charcoal to fresh, hotter ones.

One of my favourite buffet restaurants to dinew and catch up with my friends. No time limit and wagyu beef is amazing. Have been visiting so frequently.

Very good atmosphere and nice food! We really enjoy the variety of food. However, limitation of sake availability was a bit pity even desserts. Hope the restaurant can serve more various sake in near future.

Nice environment, wide selection of food and lastly, value for money Yakiniku BBQ buffet on weekend lunch with Wagyu beef. Food is fresh and staff is attentive.

Service is not very good, we have to repeat order for few times but the food still get missed out. Some staffs have bad attitude!

This is my second time to visit. It's really a nice place. And the food are delicious! The beef is tender and bathed in its own natural gravy.

My husband & I were late and on the way to restaurant. I asked my son to order US Wagyu Set for 2 $148.80 n some ala-carte dishes The Service staff recommended Japanese Miyazaki Beef Set Menu for 2 $228.80 with $60 discount. This is really VALUE FOR MONEY. We also ordered some ala carte dishes. Cooked Food were delicious Raw meat was fresh Yummy! Service staff were very courteous & friendly. Always smiling. No doubt the set is for 2 but the staff serve us with 3 cups ice cream. This was my 2nd visit to Tajimaya restaurant. That night was to celebrate my birthday. We are very happy and satisfied. We will visit the restaurant again.

Good service at Tajimaya. The meat is premium grade with Generous portion. Good selection of meat and seafood. Would be better with more varieties of vegetables.

The environment was good, smokeless bbq, the service staff are attentive, food was great, overall the experience is excellent, will definitely revisit this restaurant again

the quality of beef and prawn are great! Also 1 hour 40 mins duration of buffet time is good enough. Notes that the last order for brunch time is 3pm, and it closes at 4pm.

This is my 3rd time having lunch with my family there. Food are good and value for money on week end 1-4hrs lunch. Waygu and prawns are nice. Will be there again soon.

It was a birthday dinner for my friend. Food is excellent, service need to be careful on the Untensils part. But overall staff is very friendly and approachable. Keep it up!

Poor quality food and value. Had the set menu and the wagyu barely filled up a plate worth of beef, diluted and tasteless chawanmushi and stale tasting kimchi. Worst of all is the salmon sashimi came tasting of air; exposed to air too long and lost all its flavour. Poor cleanliness. Plates came covered in ash with stains on the wooden tables. Service was sub-par and undermanned even on a weekday evening. Will not go again. Lack of value and taste. Horrible experience. A meal that costs $180 after gst and i cant help but bolt out of the horrible place the moment i finished my food. Total duration lasted 50mins including 15mins of waiting for food to be served.

Service staff attentiveness is close to non existence for a restuarant that was not crowded (only a handful of table was filled) not returning again

Overall experience is good. Food is nice. Serve is also decent. Will come again. I would recommend it to my friends. Pork belly got too much fat, can be improved when serving the pork belly.

Quality of food is good but lack variety, especially the vegetables. Service is not great at all and serving time is slow and orders are forgotten.

Overall quite a good experience. Thumb up to their attentive staffs that serve promptly whenever we request for anything and really smiley! Food potions seems like shrink down a little. Nevertheless, we will go back again!

Excellent value for the weekend buffet (if you can eat lots of meat)! Wagyu cuts were delicious. Do note that the portion sizes for some of the stuff is quite large (so go slow first when you order)

Restaurant was under staffed. although there were not a lot of tables, service was slow. We hardly saw any servers around; tables were also left uncleared for long period of time. The meat was of good quality though. I've been patronizing the restaurant for the past few years and this is the first time I felt service was lacking.

Food came quite quickly. Though the serving portion can really be bigger. Understand it's quality but really, the serving size was barely enough for a group of 7 and we ordered about 6 servings of meat together with other side dishes and carbo.

STaff's are friendly but service was slow. Our company of 6 were seated on a table with 1 stove so we were basically cooking and turning the food non-stop. 6 mouths to feed! Max of 4 person to a stove would be just nice. Food's great and very fresh. Especially the very big tiger prawns. Recommended

Great Food, superb services to customers needs and always with smiles, buffet pricing is also good with unlimited wagyu beef, kurobuta pork, tiger prawns and our favorite swordfish sashimi and lot of other meat, seafood n vegetables, definitely a great choice to re-visit again!! Thumbs Up!!

Extremely poor service. For $58 per pax after GST & Tax, it is definitely not worth it. There are better places to eat yakiniku without the insult of poor service. No one will attend to you. This should be a buffet style instead of ala carte buffet since staffing is THE main issue

My brother reached early and tried to sit in first before I arrived but the staff mentioned to him that there was no reservation made. I reached and showed her my reservation before she allowed me to sit in. I felt that it was really unprofessional of them because I've indeed made my reservation. Therefore, it was either her who never double checked or the booking site that failed to inform them accordingly. I hope that they will look into this.

Food quality was good and really tasty. Pity about the service. My guess is they were really short handed. We had to wait for a long time for our food. Which didn't even need cooking since we were grilling it.

though response from the crew were generally slow, they are attentive and polite. nice food experience. didn't go for the set as savings weren't that attractive.

Went for their weekend brunch. Good food with good service.. Would go again with friends if there is good promotion for bigger crowd, hopefully with bigger table

The soya sauce given was very very little. To the extend of being miserable. We had to ask for 5 dishes of soya sauce and pour them into 1 dish. It's a waste of resources to wash the 5 dishes. The staff are friendly but they are a little slow in serving. The sashimi portion was very little for a group of 5 persons.

Had the weekend buffet and the portions were huge for 1 person. The meat and tiger prawns were of good quality. Service was friendly and attentive.

Good service and quality food for the price ;) The waygu and duck is good! But the sword fish is a little not fresh. Note that you can only eat for 90mins.

Celebrated my friend's birthday there. The food and service were good. The service staff particularly Eddie, was very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. Apart from good food, good service does make dining at the restaurant enjoyable. It has helped make my friend's birthday celebration a special one! We will surely come back and recommend it to other friends :)
