Service is bad, under staffed (I think) - food are pricey but it's fine if below were good, but it's not. - finished all our meals water still not available - asked for spoon and fork, followed up several times - waiter doesn't take initiative to clear empty plates in spite of no more place to put new orders - worst of all, have to keep following up the bill and receipt! Totally ridiculous.
Location is easy to find. The waiting time is not very Long. Food quality is good and it's reallly value for money for the brunch.
Food was definitely worth the $$. The promotion for weekend brunch was superb as you get free flow wagyu, angus beef and even seafood and sashimi with free flow drinks. Would go back again! (Y)
Service very lacking. Restaurant was not full and yet service was slow and orders came incomplete. were we treated as such due to the fact that we're using groupon vouchers?
The food was decent. Service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere was okay. Noise level was okay too. The air con was not cold enough at some areas.
Think the place is understaffed. The waiter and waitress too busy to cater to our request. Need to call couple of times. However food is good esp the BBQ set
Good environment and friendly staff. The variety of food is wide and price are reasonable. But some of the section was closed and did not provide any reason.
The food was absolutely heavenly! It was a charcoal bbq and there was almost zero bbq smell on your clothes when you stepped up. The beef and pork was so good, it melted in our mouths. Price was reasonable during the brunch buffet. Would highly recommend it!
It is very value for money especially for the weekend BBQ Brunch. The restaurant is easy to find within Vivo City Shopping Mall. Highly recommended, thumbs Up!
Nice food and service even during cny, food serve very fast once order and fresh I been come many time before, the good part is after this your body won't have any smell of BBQ !
The weekend buffet was awesome! First time experiencing the wagyu beef, and I must say im impressed! Must try!!!!!!! Ambience was great and service is good too!
The standards have dropped drastically. It was good the last time I was here but yesterday's meal was a utter disappointment. Used to eat there once every 2 weeks.
Service was bad even when there is not much people. Request for a seat near the window and was rejected when there was no one sitting there for long time
Food was worth the money, but service was a little slow. Ordered some items but not all were served till reminded. At least you will not smell of smoke when you leave the restaurant.
Excellent food. Service was fine. We will come back again.
Service need to be improved. The repond to our request was rather slow. Our order of shisimo fish also never came until we give up.
It was easy to make reservation, service was good and food served quickly. I had an enjoyable night with my friends and I plan to go back again.
Food is nice but costly. Service was terrible. Staff do not look up and I had a hard time getting their attention. Asked for the hot green tea to be refilled and the waitress walked off but did not return. Seemed like only 1 Indian waitress was paying attention when I raised up my hand for service. Could not even get anyone's attention when I wanted to pay the bill. In the end, the same Indian waitress helped me to get the bill. Conclusion, only 1 person working despite the numerous waiter and waitresses in the restaurant.
Quality of food was pretty decent! The only set-back was that there was no ventilation for the smoke during bbq, nevertheless the quality of service and great variety made up for it. Will return again.
The service is real bad, asked for plain water for at least 5 times. Did not told us they closes at 4pm we had to waste all the food and rush to eat.
Inexperience waiter and waitresses who do not know the price of their buffet promotion on that day.. waiter and waitresses whom we find difficulty trying to comprehend what each party wants to convey.. overall, bad service. Food is alright, okay.
Good food but poor service. Although there was rather good follow up by the supervisor, the service staff's attitude was very bad...however the good quality of the food made up for it!
The food was good. But the service is poor. You have to request something 3-4 times before they actually do it for you such as (replacing the grill or adding more charcoals).
I think the restaurant should employ more staff, since we need to wait for at least 5 minutes to find a waiter/waitress to serve us, even though the place was not busy at all.
The food was really good, and there was very little smoke. The meat were fresh and big in portion sizes as well. Drinks selection was pretty limited though.
Great food, good service. Portion is decent although a little pricey. Plenty of varieties. Recommended for all occasions with friends & family. Will visit again.
Reservation was made for 230, but we only got table at around 250 to 3pm. Last order for the brunch buffet was 315 and restaurant closed at 4. The charcoal came ard 320... you get the idea. The staff tried their best but i think the brunch crowd is just too overwhelming. They need a better system - people were waiting quite a while for food and the duo behind us got pissed and left after waiting close to 30 mins. We spent ard 110+ for two - you do get stuffed with food but it can be a stressful experience if you are at the tail end of the service.
The service staff at Tajimaya (Vivocity outlet) was attentive and gave good recommendation for my group last week. The restaurant is cosy and it is great for casual gatherings especially if one loves to grill meats DIY way.
Great food! Good value for it. Centralised location great for gathering n family too. Quite a number of choices to choose from menu. Good sake to combo too!
Very fresh and tender beef and pork. Service staff are quite friendly. Fast & prompt service. But rather pricey. Overall good experience at the restaurant.
One of the bbq stove that we had was not hot enough, so our 'cooking' was rather unproductive. After a few attempts by the staff to make the charcoal burn well, it still did not improve. We had to request for more charcoal to be added to solve the problem. Staff was really helpful. Food was good, as always!
It's great, waiters are efficient. there's very little waiting time. They are kind enough to switch out plates that we have ordered wrongly. worth it to go again.
Service is slow, made reservation still need to wait for 20mins for seat, weekend buffet got time limit then serving take slow to heat up charcoal and serving food.
Had the all u can eat Yakiniku...nice place, good food and great promotion. The portions were generous and fresh. The staff probably needs more training but overall it was a good experience.
Staff were polite, orders and requests were promptly met. Despite the freshness and variety in the set menu, the portions were small for the pricing.
Service was good. Went for the BBQ and the smell did not linger on my body. Good was all right but prices are quite steep. Ordered the Miyazaki set but the meat portion was quite disappointing. Food did not turn out to be what the picture shows in the menu.
Food excellent as usual, service attentive. Could do with complimentary water instead of just soft drinks. However, can be slow to keep up when at peak.
Overall it was a pleasant experience. However they ran out on quite a number of items on the buffet menu at only the start of the opening.
Food excellent as usual, service attentive. Could do with complimentary water instead of just soft drinks. However, can be slow to keep up when at peak.
One of my favorite restaurant. Been there many times. Service is slightly better then before but room for improvement. Lack of staff is an issue
Food excellent as usual, service attentive. Could do with complimentary water instead of just soft drinks. However, can be slow to keep up when at peak.
Good ambience, staff are courteous and helpful, food are good. We fully enjoy the birthday celebration for one of the member of our family, yay
SERVICE STARTING FROM THE ENTRANCE WAS BAD. THE LADY SEEM TO BE IN HER OWN WORLD AND DISREGARD US. WHILE SITTED DOWN AND FOOD WAS SERVED, THE SERVER WOULD JUST PLACE THE FOOD ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TABLE AND LEAVE. WHILE WE ARE SITTED ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE TABLE, IT MEANS THAT WE WILL HAVE TO SHIFT THE FOOD BY OURSELVES FROM THE RIGHT.
Good quality meats! Wagyu overload!!! One of the best Japanese BBQ buffet available. The service was reasonable too. Though the service of iced water could be slightly prompt, but we were happy the meat came promptly. :)
The charcoal BBQ was pretty decent. Nice ambience. Good food. I will definitely return again for the weekend brunch charcoal BBQ. Two thumbs up tajimaya!
This is definitely not a pram/wheelchair accessible place as we brought our newborn in the pram there. Also, we bought a $100 groupon voucher, but still had to top up another $80 just to feed the 3 of us. It is very pricey.
Attentive service with a smile. Because it's a charcoal grill, the fire can be finicky. The staff were extremely helpful with making sure the stove was fired to the right level. The food was fab too. Good quality meats. Definitely recommend.
The service for buffet was not as good as alacarte since it was more crowded. The quality of the meat was not even as well.
Been here for many times and it never fails me with the service and the food really fresh! Will continue support this fantastic japanese restaurant.
They tell me that my salmon dish is fried but came out a shashimi one but the good thing is that they managed to change to the correct one. The sequence of serving set lunch was salad as 1st item followed by the order of main dish then fruit, side dish, soup and finally the steamed egg.
