Suki-Ya - Marina Square

Buffet variety is very limited and this include the drinks that we are required to add $1++ for it. They should have more variety instead.

Service attitude was poor. We asked if the shabu shabu soup was plain, and the reply was "ofcourse, it's shabu shabu, it will be plain". Soup was bland for all other flavours as compared to the branch in Plaza Sing.

standard drop. quality of soup taste no longer thatcawesome. variety of food no longer that much. will not patronize again. very upset over the service too.

The marina square restaurant was understaffed, the staff were unpleasant and unfriendly, and the buffet items were not refilled regularly (in fact some items were not refilled at all). My party of 4 had to wait for 20 odd minutes even though we'd already made reservations, there was simply no staff manning the counter, and all the staff that we'd approached walked past and ignored us. The branch at plaza singapura is so much better.

Pleasant environment. The restaurant is a good place for friends to gather for steamboat. I will definitely recommend friends to visit this great place again.

Time given to eat is too short and the variety of food is too limited. And the replenish rate is too slow. Most of the time is always empty

Frequent this outlet. everything is fine, ambience and the variery. only sometimes service staff is very unfriendly and rude, not to blame them as the staff there seems under staff and they look tired from the busyness.

This is the 1st time I experienced such disappoint at a Suki-Ya outlet. Blatantly understaff, pathetic service where not once u see a staff smile, fierce staff. Was told that coke will be served but it never came. Lemon tea, being self service, was empty. Refilling was slow. Food replenishing was just as slow. They seriously need Chef Ramsey to wake them up.

Near to Station and accessible because it is a central location

For us it was a fast food restaurant. No atmosphere at all. The quantity of the food was more than enough. We missed the sesame sauce. Quality of the meat was general and it was still a little bit frozen (wet). We wanted to order a bottle of saké as mentioned on the card but there was nothing in stock. When we finished and asked for the check we saw they had Waguy beef as well, nobody told us.

Very poor service, will not visit again. Service staffs not attentive, top up wrong soup into the hot pot and not apologetic at all. And how can they run out of stock on items that is on the menu and only to inform customer after order was taken but not delivered, only to find out after follow up by customer.

Food was fresh but limited sitting area and staff, thus may not have someone to clear your tray on time. Overall still not too bad

Service was bad. Staffs are unattentive though the restaurant is quiet. Staff was busy on his phone despite our table had been waving to get his attention multiple times.

Restaurant ambience is good. The staff are very friendly and polite. Price is reasonable for dinner buffet with the promotion. Will certainly recommend my friends. 👍

Probably be better if there is more staffs to attend to customer's order. Lack of staff make ordering or refilling much harder and more inconvenient

Soup base not bad, food wise should have more choices. Should have more staffs even on weekdays. Staffs are friendly. Nice environment for gathering & chit-chatting.

Really good environment, though all 9 of us couldn't seat at a shared table. Food was amazing, so was their meat. Could have been better staffed to facilitate the peak period.

Food is good and clean. Environment is OK. Service is OK. With GST, dinner is about SGD 30 per person. Good place for small gathering of family or friends.

No need to wait however sometime slower service is experienced during peak hours. Good value for money for the food and lowered cost especially with existing promotions.

It has been a pleasant dining experience, though the restaurant is a bit short handed with attending staff especially the cashier is away and a long queue was formed with paying customers.

Was first greeted by the friendly manager when I first entered. My friends and I were amused by the sense of humor of the bespectacled waiter who made our gathering more memorable and enjoyable. A comfy atmosphere for friends and families to spend time together. The variety of choice of soup base and ingredients catered well to the differing tastes and preferences of my groups of friends. Would highly recommend this place.

We went on a weekday dinner so there were lesser people. Food ingredient choice was not bad too. Just that the music playing is a bit rowdy, would prefer it to be of lower volume.

The soup bases are tasty - our favourite is the Sukiyaki broth - sweet and tasty! The staff were attentive and friendly. What we like is also the free flow of ice cream after the meal which helped to cool us down after our hot steam boat!

Pleasant experience with family, friendly staff, fresh ingredients and the staffs regularly replenish the ingredients.

good service, always helping us clear our empty trays efficiently, food was good too. overall, enjoyed our time there, although it would be nice to have an even wider selection of food. but the cheese tofu was really good :)

Price is good. The rest is average. The poor waiter is a one man show to serve all. No complaints, please. I don't see helping hands from the supervisor.

Me and my friend loves Sukiya! Overall great experience in the Marina Square outlet. Will continue to go there for meals with my family and friends:)

Soup was good and their severs were nice. The meat was pretty fresh as well though there could have been more variations of the cut

The manager at the restaurant was great! He gave us a 20% discount upon finding out that it was a birthday celebration. Replenishment of the ingredients were slower initially but gradually picked up :) Overall, great experience at Suki-ya!

Nice place for gathering. Food is okay. There was supposed to be a time limit of 100 minutes, but place was not crowded, so the service staff didn't chase us away. Would go again.

People were friendly and approachable but need more people to work during peak hours. There's only one person working yesterday, so it took me awhile to get someone to help me top up the soup or attend to me.

The food at sukiyaki marina square is slightly less than at other outlets. However the amount for each food is still quite sufficient. When it is finished they are willing to top it up.

Restaurant lack of staff, therefore service not prompt. It seems like only the manager/supervisor Jason is working hard. Rest of the staff are very slow to respond. Overall not very please as we are celebrating my hubby's birthday with the family.

Not much variety of food selection for vegetables. Meat wise is good! Prob too busy during lunch time thus service was not great. Will come back again if there's 1 for 1.

Nice environment, comfortable space. Food are decent but hopefully see more varieties. I love their ice cream. Recommended for cosy, large gathering with friends & family

This was my 3rd returning trip. Food and service was great. Could improve more on the seatings though, some of the seats was already peeling off.

Terrible experience and will not go back again. They had a large group of tourists visiting with some picking up food from the counter with the chopsticks they were eating with and some even stood there to eat. Understandably they may not be aware of the local culture and adopt different views on hygiene. However, it should be the responsibility of the manager share with them. I was shocked for he was just standing at the side doing nothing. Saying so, general level of service was poor as well. Will not go back again

Great variety of food, efficient staff, regular topup of soup, well spaced between tables. The only downside is that the staff is constantly busy and not able to fulfill all requests

Food and environment is great at Suki-Ya! I really enjoy the food at suki-ya! The service was great, all the staff there are very nice and helpful EXCEPT for the cashier. We enquired about the bill and the cashier gave us a rude reply and a bad attitude. Overall, although i still love the food at suki-ya, i will never go back to marina's outlet ever again..

The food here was okay, the broths were not as flavourful as they could be, but the meats and the vegetables were good. The floor staff in general were nice, but the lady at the till was not exactly friendly.

The readiness of the staff to accede to any request was impeccable. They were fast, responsive and served with a smile. The current Iberia pork and Wagyu beef promotion is definitely a steal! However, was slightly disappointed with the range of drinks offered. The lychee drink tasted like water.

The restaurant was quite crowded and I feel that they were a little short on staff. However, I still had a good experience as the staffs were helpful.
