SOFRA Turkish Cafe Restaurant

Nice friendly service from the staff. But food is just average. The chicken shish was way too dry and tough; partly because they use the breast meat rather than the thigh meat. The pide has good texture but frankly not much flavour. The sesame bread looks good on arrival but cools very quickly to a dry crust. It feels like munching on crackers rather than bread. The hummus was pretty good though. Perhaps I will have better luck with other dishes

Pricey but good Turkish food. Not too crowded even on weekend. Good for a quiet meal with family or friends. Would go again in the future

Service was great and food was delicious especially the desserts. The servings for the main dishes were a lot and really filled our empty stomachs. Highly recommend the rice pudding and kunefe :)

Sesame bread and hummus were good before main dishes. Sultan kebab was also very delicious.

Great food. Price is reasonable. It will be good to have more varieties, especiallu desserts. Should include Gozleme and other Turkish streets food. All the best!

We like the sesame bread and Hummus. The kebab taste good, full of flavour and the platter is colourful. My friend likes the Kunefe~ the flavour of the butter and cheese mixes so well together.

Set lunch Menu was good value for money. Service was fast, friendly and prompt. Would have been even better if desserts could have been an opt in option for the set lunch menu.

I enjoyed my experience there. The staff there were all friendly and helpful, and the food was just excellent. I especially loved the dessert, Kunefe which i haven't eaten in a long time. It was such a joy to have it once again.

This has been our go to place for Turkish food fix for well over 15 years. Reliable and consistently there while most other Turkish restaurants have come and gone. Family friendly place and reasonably priced.

Very nice and good food near the office. Came here a few times for business lunch meetings and all our coworkers enjoyed the food. Will come again.

Food is consistently good here. I have been here many times. Try the Hummos with Sesame bread and Lentil soup. Service was attentive and well managed.

this is a hidden place along BEAC H road. nice boss and the supervisor was really friendly. go for the set lunch and the humus. you won't regret it. coupled with the sesame bread.....heaven

Consistently good food, though expect a long wait if crowded. Hummus, sesame bread and kunefe dessert are a must-order! This restaurant is longstanding for a reason.

Ordered Turkish bread to go with the Hummus, great combi. Chicken Beyti and Shish Kebabs as mains which are delicious. The bread for Beyti seems the same as turkish bread. So if you are ordering the turkish bread, might want to try Sofra Kebab that uses a different bread. Overall all, food is delicious and served promptly, service staff are attentive and the place is crowded on a fri night but not noisy. So you still can enjoy a wonderful peaceful dinner at Sofra.

Beautiful ambience and great food but my dessert(kunafe) was slightly burned at the bottom. besides that everything else tasted delicious. Will definitely return again in future.

First time back to Sofra after many years, and the food is still as enjoyable. We ordered a few dishes - but the highlight of the meal was the Friday special - Chicken Sote!

Nice place to have lunch. Portion for set meal was well worth it and has nice hummus....you will need to try it with the sesame bread.

Food ordered was ok. Soup of the day(mushroom soup) = would not recommend it at all. Bland, wattery & a waste of money to purchase. Drinks took 20mins to be served. Food came before drinks. The rest of the dishes ordered was considerably good. I’ve been to sofra for many times & sadly i would say the front service standard has dropped. Definitely room for improvement. I hope to see a new and improved Sofra.

A restaurant with good ambience, good food, clean and spacious. The service crews are always polite and friendly. One of my favourite to go to restaurants.

Friendly and accommodating staff who patiently explained what each dish was, as many of my guests were not familiar with Turkish food. Food was reasonably priced and quality was good too!

Great fun environment for team lunches! We had a farewell lunch for one of our colleagues and we had not gotten together as a team for some time. It was a great way to thank our team member for a wonderful working experience and to celebrate the work we had done.

The place was pretty crowded on a Thursday lunch time. But the waiters/waitresses appeared a little dis-coordinated. Lamb chop and the "sword" lamb kebab were fantastic though.

The staff were friendly and service was fast. The food is generally good. We love the sesame bread and hummus, but found the kebab dry.

Worst service ever... there used to waitresses and waiters who are awesome in doing customer service. Now the service of the waiters and the staff really sucks..!!! Ordered food and waited for more than an hour but never serve, when approached the staff, the staff saying sorry the waiter sent to wrong table.. horrible...! Good bye to this place..! Will look for alternative...!

Good restaurant, that has stood the test of time and remains an institution for mediterranean/Turkish food. Good ambience, not too grand nor too informal. Food might need some updates

The food was really good, although the waiting time was slightly long. Still, would recommend this to anyone who has not tried turkish food before or who really loves turkish food.
