Good selection of sake, and staff were knowledgeable and gave good recommendations. Kushiyaki was decent, but did not come with the smokiness found in some other kushiyaki restaurants.

Really enjoyed the skewers at Skukuu! We had the wagyu, pork cheek, chicken thigh, bacon and leek and chicken heart which was memorable. We also had a go with some sides including the beef tongue, crispy chicken skin, liver, which were ok. Was just slightly upset that the udon came furnished only with an over cooked hard boiled egg and scallions, broth resembling Vietnamese pho. Perhaps we should try out other sides next time. Loved the skewers tho! Service was also extremely attentive.

Nice and popular Japanese restaurant. Authentic decor. Friendly staff. Great selection of dishes at very reasonable prices. Definitely worthwhile to check it out. Reservation recommended as it is small and gets quite busy.

I always love going to Shukuu Izakaya, food is always great! Everytime I’m in Singapore i find the time to go there for either lunch or dinner to get some sake and grilled food. Everything i order here is good. Booking in Quandoo was also quick and easy!

Fantastic experience! Hubby and I both agreed we will revisit in a heartbeat! Food was fantastic and drinks were lovely. Only gripe I had was the kani miso but I guess that is an acquired taste.. :) nonetheless it didn’t change my impression. Great place for a night out without drama!

Been here for multiple repeat visits already. Food is excellent as always, and staff are very friendly and helpful. Lunch and dinner have different menus, so it's worth visiting for different meals.

Excellent place to satisfy your mentaiko cravings with at least 5 dishes on the menu containing mentaiko. Servings seem slightly small but every dish was consistently good. The beef tendon was very well done, although reminded me more of the Chinese style of cooking tendon. Had two servings of mentaiko rosti between two people which was quite filling. The mentaiko sardines contained a generous portion of mentaiko. Overall, slightly pricey for the serving size but excellent food and would recommend if you’re willing to spend.

The food is excellent. Wagyu was perfectly done, squid was soft on the inside and grilled nicely on the outside. The tecommended sake paired nicely with the food. Will be back again!

Lots to choose from dinner menu but quality of light bites not good. Example chicken Karaage was bland and fried with too much flour. I would probably choose lunch next time. Happy hour all night is probably e reason to revisit.

I really like this Japanese Izakaya because really nice food and it has a good taste for Sake. You can test different sake and for the couple you can choose 2pax person which is cost you cheaper than ala cart.
