belacan was shiok and so was the otak and ngohhiang. the rendang was a bit dry but gravy was nice. value for money
i love the food, but abit expensive as the serving size quite small
Affordable and nice place to visit. Food was quite alright.
Food can be improved. It’s not as yummy ad what reviewers are saying. 😬 Though for that price, one cant really complain too much.
The food is reasonable and very good !! I grew up at Katong and I know what is good Peranakan food!
Great food and Worth another visit. Nice and clean place
Authentic peranakan food.... Just like the way it is done traditionally
great food best service and vibe good times all the way

excellent food, really love the dishes, will always come again!
Odd smells in the restaurant, perhaps from the kitchen but the food and decor is well worth it.
Service was friendly and efficient, and enjoyed the variety of dishes we ordered such as beef rendang. Great value for money!
Pleasant evening with great quality food. Guests were happy. Thank you.
Tasty and value for money. Will go back again for sure
Nice & cozy environment, good for people who loves peranakan food and chatting
My second visit in a week! I must say food is pretty good for an unassuming little eatery. Food portion is acceptable given the menu price which isn’t on the high side. It’s a good place for Family meals or eating out with friends that won’t burn through your wallet! I have added this eatery as one of my fave places to go for dining out!
Wait staff look a bit grumpy. Could be a bit more welcoming and gracious
Amazing nyonya pork ribs and chap chye. Loved the food
Great food at great prices, I highly recommend this place
The shop was quite vacant when we arrived. We (2pax) were seated at a table of 6 as we were carrying huge bags. Customer service +1. As we were there the day before mother's day, they only had the curated menu on the table. Having probed about their regular ware, they quickly produced their menu with most reputable dishes of the peranakan culture. The rest of the story needs to be experienced. :)
We waited quite a while for the food come but i guess bcecause 2 big groups ordered before us. Though seems shorthanded, the staffs are attentive to our needs. Food is delicious and thanks for the special kind arrangement of take away gift for mothers.
The restaurant makes an effort to accommodate my last minute request to add 2 more persons on a busy weekend. Thumbs up!
Reasonably priced... a good dining hangout with family & friends! Will visit again!
Decent experience. Chendol was good. Great for a casual dinner.
Best peranakan food. Very authentic and the price is very reasonable.
Enjoy the place and meal, thumb up to all service staff
Delicious food. Good service. Interesting pleasant environment. Affordable prices. Thank you!
My friends were surprised that there's such a restaurant here with such nice dishes
The buah keluak was tasty tho meagre in portion with just one nut - you have to buy extra nuts which we did, since everyone wanted to try. The Otah which I usually pass on at restaurants was surprisingly meaty and good. The chap chye is sad.
Food was really decent comparing with price and against other Peranakan restaurants. However, seems like all Peranakan restaurants serves in pretty small portion, so got to order more portion if it’s a big group. Portion serves 2 just fine. Service was slightly slower due to only one person taking order on a crowded sunday evening, wanted to re order, but the orderer was just too busy to take our orders. Place is small and cosy, thus noise level can be really high however negligible. Overall, a nice place to dine in considering food are good and served at reasonable price.
Always enjoyed my food there but the common comments I got from my family members :- food seems cold, should be served hot.
The food is delicious. My favourite is the Babi Pontek. The price is reasonable. The service is good.
Acoustics of restaurants with mostly tiled areas will cause noise to bounce. Always helpful to have some “padded paintings” or drapes or quilts as backdrop somewhere to help with noise absorption. But we were there early and I was probably making a lot of noise laughing%
Great service and awesome food! My favourite spot for Peranakan food!
The staff bush keluak is damm good! Carpark is hard to find though.
Great food. Sambal belachan was awesome. Chap chye & beef rendang siok
Overall, everything seems fine with us. Thank you for the serviced.
My second time here . Wanted to try the fish head , chose Assam instead of curry , tasted Ok but somewhat disappointing, the beef rendang was good though , really tender and lemak. Overall , an enjoyable dinner !
This Peranakan restaurant is good for the food quality and value-for-money. Service is good and efficient despite only one service staff is on duty.
Like in my previous visits, I enjoy this meal. This time I brought 3 friends who had not been there. All of us like the food. The service is good too. It will be even better if there are more vegetable dishes to choose.
Set menu was good value for money . Lamb shank was in the special menu, very tender and the rendang was very tasty. Dessert was not too sweet. Will definitely come again .
Best Peranakan food at affordable price. Note on their outlet in Orchard is bit more pricy.
The food is good and reasonably priced at this quaint little eatery. I love coming here for hearty Peranakan in a homely environment. I look forward to coming back again.
Main dishes were generally satisfying, except chincalok omelette, didn’t taste any hint of chincalok at all. desserts a let down, service was efficient & prompt.
Pretty good food n service was fast. Alittle short handed
Food is delicious and authentic Peranakan. Especially enjoyed the seafood otak. Thought it’s the best I have eaten. The dumplings are just as good. Tried the ones with chicken filling in the past but they have since stopped making it. Hope they will consider using chicken besides pork which may not be popular with the health conscious. Highly recommended and not forgetting the pricing is reasonable.
