Affordable peranakan food and the set meals offer great value for money
Affordable and delicious Peranakan food. This was my 2nd visit, will definitely visit again!
Service was slow. Asked for water/some items several times. Guess they are shorthanded. Food was not bad though.
Visited with friends. Quality Peranakan food at pocket-friendly prices. Portions are good for sharing.
We really enjoyed the private and quiet atmosphere. The food - both in terms of quality of ingredients and taste - was excellent by any measure.
Second time there. Great food, good ambience, attentive service. Will definitely go back again. And will recommend to others.
We arrived amid heavy rain and the staff was quick to loan us an umbrella. We also have an elderly with us and they gathered info on our sitting arrangement and quickly met our request. Food was very good and super friendly staff! Definitely will go again
The restaurant name changed as week as the menu also changed.
Good range of Peranakan options - but a bit pricey.
great service and delicious food. restaurant whatsapp to confirm reservation as well.
always a good time here; food is fantastic and great ambience
Authentic peranakan food. Location is a little isolated, but the food is well worth it.
Nice cosy peranakan ambience. Great food. Favourites such as Ikan Bakar, Buah Keluak, otah. Friendly staff
Food is ok butnot excellent. Waiting time of each course is abit slow despite the restaurant is only half full
Enjoyed the authentic cuisine and great service. Food was affordable too
Food was OK but the portion size is quite small
No frill Peranakan eating place. It felt like the food was prepared at a central kitchen and only brought to the restaurant to be served. It’s good value though.
Neighbourhood restaurant- durian penget was the best I’ve tasted👍 The assam fish need to have thicker gravy
Experience has always been great at Tinkat Paranakan. Would go back again
Great food and good atmosphere. Pretty authentic experience. However, take note if you can’t eat spicy food 😅
very good excellent good service chilli nice not bad great job
very good food and authentic. very nice and friendly guest. highly recommended
Seems the food standards dropped abit, dishes that we ordered tasted abit over on salt, the buah keluak wasn’t fantastic, some dishes were already not available even though we were doing a 7pm dinner, not a very late timing. There was a big group that was just so full of themselves and so inconsiderately noisy, though nothing much the staff could do about it, Staff service was attentive and helpful to make up for some of the disappointments.
Been going to this place many times. Still love it.
Very nice and authentic Peranakan food. Nice location easy to find
food ok but price reasonable, there's bento price, should try if u hasnt
Homely peranakan food, generous portions and really nothing for me to complain about hehe
Food is amazing as always. Ayam Buah Keluak, Brinjal dish and Assam Fish were my favourite! Service could be improved though - the manager made us feel really uncomfortable by hovering over us when we asked for time to look at the menu, then again when they wanted to close the restaurant and asked us to settle our bill. We also asked if we could get the set meals but he said the portions were small and told us to get ala carte portions instead and recommended 3 dishes between the 2 of us would be good but that ended up being wayyy too much!
First time trying here and suprisingly the food was good in flavour and taste, will come back again
food is great and waiter is chatty and friendly. place is cosy too
food was good but pricing a bit steep though ambience nice service was prompt
The food portion reduced a bit compared to last time. But price remained
Best value for money Peranakan food in Singapore. Love the Babi Ponteh
The ikan Assam garam is nice, but Ayam buah keluak only so-so... The sayur masak lemak is nicely spicy and would be nicer if use more santan... Plum drink is nice too. Overall ok.
Food and prices were reasonable, although service was a bit slow and dessert came before mains
Food was good but the waiting time was too long. The 1 pax set was not worth when I ordered takeaway. Ala carte was still ok
The sets are of great value and great quality. Fast service and happy home cooked food. What else can you ask for?
A nice and quiet place. Food quality is good. For parking pleas park at the nearby HDB carpark.
Nice Peranakan food in a cosy restaurant with cool Peranakan decorations
My favourite restaurant and food is so delicious. Definitely come back again
friendly crew and awesome food. will definitely return to try other set meals!
Overall wouldn't say it's amazing, but they serve pretty decent comforting peranakan food. Their curry fish head is good though!
the food is good! while the soup is so so, I highly recommend the Penang pork ribs and chicken keluak.
Good food good service value for money meals and consistent taste
Food is nice and delicious. Staff is friendly. A good place to try Peranakan food in Singapore
The buah keluak is of consistent quality and a must-order everytime I eat at this place.
Very nice service and got free kueh as starter, thumbs up!
service a little slow for a Friday night, only 1 staff to take order, seat guest and settle bills... thankfully restaurant not too full... food is tasty
Quaint little restaurant with relaxing vibe. Good bento sets at affordable price
Always good food and service for affordable price. Great and friendly lady manager/service staff
