Good ambience and even better food! Would definitely visit again.
only thing is i wish there was a more variety of mains to select from.
Everything was fine. Crews were friendly and serve us well. Love the service.
Enjoyed the yummy food and will definitely recommend to others!
will be back to try the other dishes and great atmosphere
Enjoyed our food orders but portion was a little small. Service was great too!
Pocket friendly wine prices, good variety of food. Host was friendly. Would revisit again. Should try the tuna tartare and cod fish!
The food was great!!! Would definitely come back again. Enjoyed the starters and mains, but the desserts were okay only!
Was a nice atmosphere and the food was great. The Greek salad was wonderful.
Great place for a good time. Worth visiting with burpple.
Great experience eating at such a classy restaurant. Their dishes are such a revelation!
the food was great as usual!! really love dining here
Good service but has to wait quite a while for the food.
As usual, great service, food was good. Desserts were lackluster but overall it was good.
food was good value for money service was abit slow took awhile for menu to come and table wasnt set up etc but again it was xmas day so probably due to being extra busy
Good food and service, always a great time there to remember
Service was poor and very slow. Staff not very attentive to customers needs
Octopus is good but it is overrated. Steak is good.
Atmosphere was not bad but staff could be more attentive
Food was good, wish that the portion sizes were larger as we were still hungry after our main course. Bill took ages (> 10min) to arrive, staff should be more prompt
Went there for a bday celebration. The ambience was not bad, the food was nothing mindblowing - not lousy but quite average. I would say the pork shoulder blade was the best main (compared to steak and barramundi), the apple tart was interesting (compared to tiramisu and their cake of the day), and the appetiser with the lamb/ salmon tartare were quite good (octopus was too salty, didn't like the seasoning of the prawns).
Disappointed with the service staff! First, I request to change table, they told me all table are reserved. But until we finished our dinner around 8:30pm the table is still not taken by anyone. The cutlery is not being prepared. We have 6 pax, they either short fork or butter knife or spoon. We need to request for several times in order to get water refilled.
Always enjoyed their food as it was value for money. Service was quite slow as they looked understaffed.
Restaurant was very understaffed. Staff could see us requesting assistance but kept asking us to wait. Each course took more than 30mins
Staff was friendly, attentive and approachable. We had a pleasant experience. Food quality was exceptional considering we had the 1-for-1 deal. Will definitely recommend friends and go back again.
Ambience was good. Food was fairly priced and a good deal if you use the entertainer app for 1 for 1 deal.
Amazing food and friendly helpful staff. Had an early dinner on a Friday evening and loved the quiet cosy atmosphere.
Dine at Porta for dinner. Service was excellent but the food fell short of expectations. Overall, it was a good experience.
Food was great. Only bad point was that it took a while to get the bill when it was requested.
Excellent value for money with the 10 year anniversary $10++ salmon. Highly recommended. Service was excellent as always.
I went here for a team lunch and they allocated me a cove room/table. The service was excellent and the food extremely delicious. It’s good value for money. I highly recommend this place.
Great atmosphere. Very kind and attentive staff and excellent food
Excellent food and service. The menu items were highly delectable.
Had a great time at Porta! They’ve got an awesome deal with bottomless Prosecco on eves of and on public holidays.
good food but portions are still for the price. the food quality is fine dining but the ambience isn't.
Nice food especially the blackforest dessert! Service is very commendable too!
Arrived on time for my mothers birthday celebration with elderly in my group as well. Staff said we didn't have a reservation. I told them I could show the confirmation and he didn't bother looking or listening. He just kept looking at his reservation screen. I said that there are tables available, he said they are reserved. I said I made a reservation too, he said quandoo is an external system and that I didn't call in. If I called in they would have made a reservation. He just kept repeating and wasn't hearing what we were saying. We left for another restaurant.
A very quaint restaurant with great pasta. It wasn’t crowded even when we visited on a weekend, thus perfect for a brunch date with my girlfriends.
Great chill spot for dinner, can’t rave about the Iberian Pork Secreto or the Shrimp & Chorizo Pasta enough!
Excellent ambience and service. Impressed by the specialty tomato ketchup they offered. Definitely a must try. Look forward to returning
Nice ambience and it was a quiet evening. The food was pretty good save for the short rib which they had to substitute with a brisket which was a mistake as it was too tough. Other than that, the service was good.
Good food, resonable wine prices. The burger was good and ambience was good for a night out. Service was good. Experience was unfortunately marred by a large group of people making lots of noise.
Went for lunch and ordered ala carte. The cream of mushroom was average. The Iberian pork was great. Will go again to try other dishes.
Nice food, good ambience, wonderful service. Value-for-money. We will definitely visit again.
It was a big but cosy restaurant. Because we reserved seats on Quandoo we got a dome all to ourselves. Service was impeccable. Staff paid a lot of attention to our needs.
It was meant to be a belated anniversary dinner but the experience was so bad, we had a 2nd dinner over at Robertson Quay instead. 1) The server who sat us down did not bother offering the menu; he really just sat us down and left. We had to wave and get attention from others to even have a look at the menu. 2) While the big sofa looks stylish, it is simply not feasible. 4 couples including ourselves were squeezed onto 1 sofa. Imagine how close that is. We could all hear each other's conversation, feel the sofa move when one shakes his leg and also breathe in the bacteria because the loud girl next to us was coughing non stop (poor girl, nobody offered her a drink). 3) When placing order, the server kindly informed me that all the customers had complained that the prawn pasta is very spicy and asked if i want to reduce the spice; kudos to her for looking out for me but definitely not a hotel standard way of explaining. If all the customers had already complained, then why not just reduce the spicy level entirely? By the way, the dish was more salty than spicy. All in all, it really wasn't worth it if not for the entertainer app. But we will still not utilise the remaining ones.
Had breakfast/brunch at the restaurant. Food was good and service was great too.
Good value 3 course set lunch. Portions on the small side but so is the price for Singapore. Was not busy so service was attentive
Ordered the set lunch - Smoked Trout, Gnocchi and Granny Smith Apple Tart with Vanilla Ice Cream. Starter and main were good but the dessert was sort of disappointing. Was expecting apple slices but it was more pastry instead.
Tried their set lunch menu for the first time. Love their beet root salad and a generous size of fish for main dish. But the apple tart dessert was disappointing - the tart was too dry and hard and could not taste a sense of apple in it. Ice cream at the side was good though.
