1. The good points: (a) service is good (b) ambience - tables are not set too near each other (we sat downstairs) (c) dessert (tiramisu and apple tart with ice-cream) 2. The not so good points: (a) temperature of the pasta (b) freshness of the seafood To elaborate: while the flavour of both the squid ink pasta and the seafood pasta is good, the pasta's temperature was lukewarm especially the squid ink pasta. The seafood was not very fresh, especially the mussels, which were also a tad overcooked. We tucked into the pasta right after it was served so we do not think it is because the aircon is too cold. It is important for a restaurant to serve food hot and to use fresh produce.

Pleasant crew, ordered the squid ink pasta and they offefeda bib for me andmy date. Would recommend to anyone. Reservations are highly recommended as the place gets crowded during dinner time.

The tables for 2ppl are placed very closely to each other - no privacy. Although we arrived early and asked for corner table, request was turned out down. As for food, the mushroom soup and portobello mushroom are good. But the vongole (linguine w/ clams) was dry and blend even I have asked for more wine sauce when ordering. Beef lagsane was not piping hot when served, taste wise was so so - very tomato taste. Overall dining experience was not as good as I expected and food wise was not as good as what reviews have said.

We had the homemade pasta with scallops & prawns, vongole pasta & crabmeat pasta. Al-dente and well-flavoured, it was a delight to savour. Nice old-world feel ambience too

Good service and good food. Unfortunately the cheese platter which we ordered for dessert was disappointing. We found it less quality and quantity compared to the other dishes which we have enjoyed so much.

It has been an excellent experience for the both of us. Enjoyed the service as well as the food. Quandoo has helped to facilitate the booking which usually is so difficult to do so.

The food at Pasta Brava is always comforting and on point. I had the Pasta Special which was a squid ink tagliatelle with scallops in a tomato basil sauce. Delicious! But service doesn't seem as good as i remember. We made a reservation for 6 at 7.30, but half of us arrive early at about 7.05. We ordered a bottle of wine and a starter while waiting for our friends to arrive. At 7.35, one of the wait staff asked if our friends would be arriving soon - were they trying to chase us away or hurry us along? In any event, it was only 5 minutes after our reservation timing. I was perplexed, but left happy after my satisfying meal.

It was crowded on a Thursday evening, which affected the ambience. But otherwise, the risotto was perfectly "al dente" and tiramisu was well drenched! The well-known provision of paper & chalk for customers to get creative was a fun-filled distraction from the noise of the crowd.

the food used to be better. risotto was undercooked. the bread was too hard as well. i think it's not really worth the money anymore.

Had a birthday celebration for our daughter. Ordered the usual cypress salad which didn't disappoint. The pan fried duck liver was also amazing. However, the lasagna was dry and did not live up to standard. Slightly disappointed as our previous visits were good.

A place with nice pasta and atmosphere. The steak with chocolate and red wine sauce was really really nice. The restaurant was quite full when we came, so better to reserve a table if you're going.

Really expensive, however the food is fantastic. Our waitress was fantastic ; she accidentally forgot to write in our appetizer but she sincerely apologized and got it for us right away. Stunning place which reminded me of the places of little Italy in NYC where I grew up. Overall; expensive but delicious!

Really good food and excellent service. My sister had her birthday and the staff - her name is catherine - went out if the way to keep the cake we got a surprise. She provided excellent service and was very friendly. They also gave complimentary tiramisu for the birthday girl. Enjoyed my whole experience here. Highly recommended and thank you to catherine for the excellent service.

Pasta was great - we had one with crab and another homemade pasta with scallop and shrimp. Calamari was soft and chewy enough - prob best in town! Would have gotten a perfect score if their desserts were up to par... Tiramisu was a little dry and chocolate fondant too sweet...

We ordered the Rustichella d'abruzzo al granchio e bottarga and Stracci al gamberi e capesante and the Panna Cotta and Lava al cioccolato for dessert. All of the dishes were very well done and worth their price :)

The food was not great and did not meet expectation, particularly the fish dish of the day. The fish was soft and was very fishy. However the lava cake was fabulous and save the day.

Have always heard good things about Pasta Brava, and having finally tried it ourselves, we concur. We had 2 starters, 1 home made pasta, and 1 dessert, all of which were good. Special mention to the starters.. Although they set the expectation really high for what was to come next. In a nutshell, lovely food, but more warmth from the service staff would make it an even better experience.

Very good service - my request that I put on Quandoo was conveyed to the staff in Pasta Brava. We had the Prosciutto con melone as an appetizer, Stracci Al Gamberi Homemade pasta and the and the Ravioli Con Carne. The ambience was very authentic and the menu brought me back to Italy. The food was good pasta for Singapore, but doesn't even come close to the offerings in Italy. That said, don't miss the tiramisu :)
