Excellent Food and service ! I would highly recommend to come here.
Delicious food! 😋 Enjoyed watching the cooking and dishing while seated at the counter 🙂
Great hospitality and service. Food was authentic and rustic. Portions are very generous so please bring your appetite.
Food was underwhelming and not worth the high price point!
The carbonara here is probably the best in singapore. Service is always good!!
Didn't get to dine there due to a mix up with regards to accommodating children. However, staff were very helpful in finding us alternative restaurants to dine at, and I greatly appreciated that.
Everything was good - the food, ambience and dessert. Also, chefs were friendly to interact with us.
Food was great, ambience too. Great vibes. We were supposed to have 2 hours and leave at 8.30pm but by 7.50pm they were rushing us to finish our main course and putting the dessert menu on the table etc. It really spoilt the experience to have the staff hovering over us and rushing us to finish.
Food was fantastic. Never tasted pasta better than Pasta Bar.. My son and I love the food, will definitely return.
Pasta was tasteless and uninspired (no spice in chickpea pasta; tomato sauce tasted like ketchup?!)...also overpriced. Not recommended.
Delicious homemade pasta! Very authentic! Love the counter seating too but as I was with a larger group, we sat at the table which was nice and comfy.
Good quality pasta! But bad quality bread ...in all its a good experience
The food was delicious and the ambience was perfect 👍🏻👍🏻
Outstanding authentic Italian food, great atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Tasteless food not worth the money. Lacked depth and taste.
the pasta and steak that we ordered was delicious but the dessert could be better.
Better valued italian food elsewhere for the price they charge
Delicious homemade pastas and attentive service. My new fav pasta place! Loved the dirty martini - will be back
Loved the ambience/interior and food was lovely - had a great time
Food was decent but was a bit of a hit and miss for some dishes
Had a great time! Good food good atmosphere. We were also given fabulous seats right up front at the bar. It’s a pasta bar, so mostly pasta on the menu, with just a couple of starters, mains and sides. We’ll be back for sure!
The most amazing pasta! Well worth the visit just for this alone.
Service was polite but slow. Seated for around 5 minutes before we were brought the menu. Seated at the counter seats but in front of the hot station, so 10 minutes into sitting there and we were flushed from the heat. Restaurant can review the seating arrangement for this area. Was told that the spaghettini would be a cold pasta upon ordering, but upon being served - pasta was plated on a HOT plate, which turned the pasta warm. It tasted good, but would have been Great if only the temperature was correct. Carbonara was delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Service was excellent, fantastic food. Perfect ambience to impress your date. Will be back for more to try out the different pastas available here.
Beautifully silky pasta. Opt for bar counter seats to watch the chefs in action.
Amazing food and excellent service. Will definitely visit again in future.
Terrific food and terrific taste in background music, all my favorites
Good food. However, the atmosphere and service were relatively poor.
Service staff & crew were not very hospitable in general
Products are perfectly on point, and subtly cooked/prepared. Loved the atmosphere and the sitting at the bar.
Staff can be more friendlier. Food was good and fresh.
Dine with visuals of the kitchen while dining. Good food with very attentive staff
Disappointing food, service and bill! shocked by sugary sauce. Not recommended
The high counter seats makes the dining experience relatively uncomfortable as diners have to sit close to each other. We also have to make way for food to be served and cleared. For a pasta house, there seemed to be limited choices in the pasta selection. There are many vegetarian choices, limited pasta with hearty meat choices. The beef ragu is not pulled beef but minced beef, so somehow doesn't feel substantial. The Tortelli was very good with the pumpkin and sage filling.
Unmemorable. The steak ($78) is cardboard dry. The Catch of the Day (M/P $48) according to my children tastes like airplane food. I tried it and agree with them. The pasta (we tried 2 types, vegetarian tomato based and beef ragu, ~ $40) was enjoyable. However, for ~$40 a plate, there are plenty of great Italian restaurants with better service in the area. A piece of sourdough was offered complimentary to the guests and we asked for a bit more bread to soak up the pasta sauce, the reply was that it’s complimentary and not possible to have more. We offered to pay for the bread. (Bread basket is not on the menu at an Italian restaurant...) After a bit of discussion between service staff and manager, they offered us at $1 a piece. For a small cozy restaurant, the manager made no attempt to make true guests feel welcomed. He strutted around the restaurant similar to how discipline masters did when I was at school. There was no smiles from him and that somber mood definitely was rubbing off his service staff who didn’t look like they enjoyed working there.
Perfect place to enjoy!! Must try their signature regu Pasta!
Great food and great vibe. Liked the open kitchen environment.
Great food, great ambience, friendly & efficient service. Thank you.
My dining party of 3 had to wait 20 mins for our table last night - our reservation was for 830pm and we were seated only close to 855pm! And that was after I made a fuss about waiting too long. While I understand the previous Caucasian diners had already paid the bill by 830pm and were finishing up their “chats”, I didn’t think waiting 20 mins was acceptable or a good start to a dining experience. When the bald manager at the front door told us to wait for our table, he was quite dismissive about he waiting time and I think he expected us to just stand around and wait. He only offered us counter seats to wait or seats outside when we asked. Not a sign of good service. Another Waiter (bespectacled and local) kind of saved the night because he was friendly, chattand helpful with the menu choices when we finally sat down at our table. Service was quick and efficient thereafter. Now on to the food - the pasta itself was fresh and we loved it BUT the sauces were NOT. The dishes lacked punch and flavor we felt. We ordered the burrata which was ok, not great but ok. The beef ragu pasta was more flavorful than the rabbit pasta which was too salty and disappointing. Overall My guests and I wished our dining experience wAs more positive but we don’t think we will be back to Pasta Bar again. For the same prices we would be able to get better fare and much better service elsewhere.
Catch of the day : Mussels were spoilt which staff brought back to kitchen and they confirmed it. No supervisor nor manager nor chef came out to apologize or asked if the foods is ok. (Which most restaurants especially Italian restaurants would ask that question to check if everything is ok) No goodwill gesture of symbolic discount or free dessert or free coffee etc. Rest of the dishes is average in comparison to a few Italian restaurants in Singapore. Very disappointing.
The fresh pasta itself was nice, but overall the dishes really needed better balance of flavors. Pretty expensive too relative to other pasta joints (who also serve fresh pasta).
Service was good and the restaurant's ambience was nice, however both dishes we ordered felt a bit under seasoned and ravioli was a tad undercooked.
Really good food and service, will definitely return! Was also patient since I was a little late.
The food was not worth the price. The tagliatalle tasted great but not the ravioli and the fried nutella. We sat at the counter top. While it was interesting to watch the chefs prepare the food, it was also disturbing to witness the master chef chiding the remaining crew. Was lovely of the master chef to prepare and give some of us customers a piece of complimentary sweet pumpkin ravioli to sample. Small restaurant, seats & tables were placed closed to each other. Limited menu choices overall.
Overrated place. Had 2 dishes of pasta and both were wet and soggy. Taste was also bland
Food had good flavors but the pastas were too salty. Service was hit and miss.
Service was helpful but food quality was poor, over priced and very slow. Under staffed and chefs need to coordinate themselves better.
Service ranged from stoic and unfriendly (the “maitre d”) to downright obstrusive. They asked us 3x if they could take away our plates when it was obvious we were still eating! Then when it came to ordering dessert, they suddenly said that actually we had to give up our table. That would’ve been fine if they had informed us early on. The food was just ok. In fact, the carbonara pasta we ordered was very limp and overcooked. Not al dente at all
Great menu of pasta dishes, caters well for vegetarians. Service great. The only downfall we felt was the quality of the desserts. Would still go back for the pasta though
Amazing food, great atmosphere and very nice wine!!! Good experience.
