It was a great experience! Much shorter queue than the Tanjong Pagar outlet, with great taste and less crowd. Get to try food from other stalls too
Excellent food and good service! The staff team was very helpful although it the restaurant was very busy. We had a wonderful experience and will be going back.
Meal is lovely as usual. However the wait for unagi food items after ordering is almost an hour as eels had to be caught, killed and grilled.
Excellent food; grilled jus like the one in city. Many choice of Japanese food available. Spacious and good ambience. Good for families and big group gatherings.
Food was good, unagi was great. However, service was lackluster. The 3 sauces that are supposed to come with the meal was not provided and had to be requested. Location is not very accessible as well.
Thank you very much Quandoo. Easy and convenient booking The food is good same as hq Average per person we spend about forty Sin dollors
Food was nice however the service there wasn’t really pleasant compared to other outlet. The waitress service are sucks as in I owe her thousand of dollars. Thought here can beat the queue yet the service would make me doesn’t feel like visit this outlet anymore.
The Unagi is quite nice but the service staff attitude is bad and serve customers with a “Black Face”. The food is little pricy too.
Ambience not so much as it's located in the middle of Industrial area and not so cosy as Izakaya. Unagi is signature and nothing to complain but service can be improved
Great place for a date. Do expect some noise though.
The food is good. But service staffs attitude is not up to standard ( on saturday from 2pm to 3pm ). When i raised hand to take order, the female service staff saw but did not acknowledge, simply walk pass me and proceed to wipe another table and do other things before coming to my table go take order. Even before closing at 3.30pm The females staff all changed to slippers, which are very unsightly for the customers. This shows that they dont respect the customers in the store. There wasnt alot of customers in the restaurant yesterday, but the female staff seems quite lethagic and drag their feet while walking. We were served by a male service staff and his promptness and attitude to customer was far more better than. The rest.
The food is nice here, much faster queue. However the Hitsumabushi is not as yummy and succulent as the 1as the first branch though. The ramen was fantastic though! Still overall a great experience!
When we arrived, no one came to serve us. I had a reservation but they didnt bother to check nor is there a table allocated to us. Place is crowded and rowdy. Food is nothing to rave about, you can get about the same standard of unagi anywhere else too.
Food is decent, price is reasonable. Just that the location is not very accessible if you don’t drive. But it’s still Worth a try!!!!! D
Enjoyed not having to queue for a seat. used quandoo to book very easily. Servers were not too attentive. Maybe cos the lighting was dim. Lights could be brighter for alertness n quicker response. Unagi was delicious. Crispy skin n meaty. The unagi sauce a salty tho. Quantity of Unagi was sufficient. Considering the Unagi was freshly caught n grilled, this was money well spent.
We reserved the restaurant easily and parking was easy with slots just right infront of the restaurant. The eel was grilled to perfection- crispy on the outside and not too sweet. My dining companion had wagyu beef tataki. It was tasty and of good quality. the Service was prompt and efficient. It was a pleasant experience.
Overall experience is good. Unagi tasted less fresh than the one at man man but it’s still amazing. Big spacious area to dine at casually and food came by pretty fast. Only gripe is that the waiter team still seem new in their roles as compared to the man man outlet in Tanjong Pagar.
Great ambience!! Foods is delicious, place is cozy!! Great place to hand out and chill!! Will definitely come again. :)
Good food and service! Loved the place because it's not too crowded and parking is easy too. There's quite a bit to choose from the menu as well..
The food is really generous, super big portion and delicious! Very value for money and the service is good too! Would definitely come back again! :)
Good food and great for kids. Udon and ramen is a good option for kids if kids dont eat unagi. Spacious but little slow in service
Staffs are friendly and helpful. Ordered Hitsumabushi. We do not have to wait very long for the food to be served. Nice ambient on a weekend afternoon.
The place is easy to spot and parking was plentiful. We were greeted by freindly staff upon entering. The place had a great ambience. We ordered the Hitsumabushi set and was not let down one bit. It was extremely delicious at an affordable price. 10/10 Highly recommended!
Excellent unagi rice with fresh wasabi and tea. They provide cooling, spacious and comfortable space for the diners. Definitely will go there again for the unagi.
A bit out of the way but a cozy environment for family dinners. Food was amazing as always especially with the addition of ramen and sushi choices. Definitely recommended!
The service of the staff could be better. The food is good. I hope to visit it again with the improvement in service quality. Thanks.
The ambiance was above average considering it's in an industrial building...kind of acceptable. Pricing was middle of the road while the taste is above average, had better ramen and unagi from other joints. Service was average as the staff was not attentive...had to ask and/or raise hand a couple of times.
Very bad customer service . We were there to celebrate our one year old Son birthday and at the end of dinner , they told us that birthday cakes are not allowed . We were also very hurrily usher to our seats . Food quality is just average .
Great food, price is slightly at the high side but totally worth it. Spacious environment and nice ambient. Suitable for large group or team gathering.
Great place! The tables for two are a bit small if you order more than two sets of Unagi (we had the ramen as well while we were there), but with some juggling and removing the trays it's okay. The food is great and the place is nice.
The unagi is very worth the price you're paying for. They even provided fresh wasabi for you to grind on your own, that was my favourite part.
Nice place but seems to be shorthanded in terms of wait staff. We ordered a grilled pork but grilled chicken was served and when we clarified with wait staff, he checked with chef and said it was pork when it’s obviously not.
The Unagi rice was good, same as the branch at Chinatown. Ramen was not too bad. Service was quite fast and food arrived quickly. My father-in-law spilt his bowl of soup and they staff quickly helped clear up the mess and replaced the bowl of soup.
Long queue, But food was really good. This is the best unagi I have tasted. Charcoal grilled Unagi over rice, with fresh wasabi and grater on the side,
Food was good, service staff not that attentive, took sometime to top up green tea. Where we were seated, lightings was a bit dim. However, Mgr was pro-active enough to get feedback from us end of our meal regarding the lightings where we were seated, and promise to look into it.
Food was good and price is reasonable. Service staff were mediocre (probably part-timers during Mother's day)
It was alright. The restaurant was a little chaotic. There were a few perm servers in uniform but a few temporarily Cleaners that looked like they came directly from the nearly construction sites to help out. I hope in time the management will sort this out. Food wise, I ordered a full eel, the roast was crisp but I had to remove a few bones from my mouth.
Food is ok. However, pricing abit expensive. Place is crowded on weekday lunch time. Ramen soup is nice but my friend find it too salty.
