Service was great and the staff came by often to check on us and offered numerous opportunities to make our dining experience more comfortable. Food was delicious and ambience wonderful. Perfect for an atypical evening if you are bored with the usual restaurant fare or western/ asian cuisine!
Awesome staff! Service was better than expected :D They were told I was celebrating my bday so I Got a bday cake and 4 shots free of charge ! Play list was impeccable and ambience is quite cool !
Excellent food and atmosphere. Music was good, but would like to have heard more reggae. Appetizer chili shrimp was spicy but amazingly good! Get it if you like spicy!
Tried a cuisine not often found in Singapore. Very friendly and attentive service. Love the fun ambience. A tad noisy but that's the fun! Will return! Especially since there's an Entertainer 1-for-1 voucher.
Lovely place. Nice food. The curry curry is super good. I am in love with it. And the mac balls. Always good to meet friends there and have a chill night
It is a really cool place, with a nice looking local, very good food and reggae music! Definitely to try! Absolutely great for a chill out Friday night like the one we had!
I've been here once and I've been meaning to come back. The jerk chicken is absolutely delicious, and the interiors are really cozy and nice.
Nice setting, foot was quite nice and reasonably priced too. Staff were friendly but the service was quite slow, drinks were slow to come, the dessert took what seemed like ages and it took a while to get someone's attention to get our bill.
Platters and a number of main course dishes had run out by 8pm, including that which we had especially wanted to order. A 20 minute wait for desert stretched to 35 mins after we reminded them. Topping this was that the restaurant did not accept my Entertainment Book voucher.
Good service. Food wise it's rather subjective, I will say that it's done well just that it's not my kind of flavor. I did enjoy the starters and we had the basket of fried squids twice. So it could be a hit or miss depending on your palate.
We had the baby back ribs, blackened catch and curry curry goat for mains. Good value for money food. Waitress was also flexible enough to give us 1 for 1 corkage waiver.
Came with a group of friends to chill out after work.. love the nice laid back ambience, food was interesting, but good! location a short 10mins walk away from the mrt
Nice, cosy with great ambience at the restaurant. The food served was somehow different from the normal western style, with a touch of Caribbean - Indian, Italian taste etc. The service staff was good too.
Best place for Rhum lovers, the 4 pages list is impressive. Food is nice especially the fish (Black catch) and on the Caribbean theme. A little costly but worth it. There is originality and good execution, while on most restaurants you have to compromise on one or another. Great & will definitely go back.
The restaurant's interior is wonderfully decorated with reggae music playing in the background. Everything you would imagine in a carribean restaurant. I came here to celebrate my husband's birthday and I was a little worried that it would not match his expectations as he is from the carribean but he loved it. I can't recall the names of the dishes we ordered. We got a chickpea dish as a starter. It came with what I can only describe as a fried dough/bread thing. For our main courses we ordered baked sweet potato stuffed with vegetables and jerk chicken. Definitely request for hot sauce if it doesn't come with the dish you order. It packs quite a punch. We loved all the dishes. The only thing that wasn't particularly fantastic was the spiced banana bread. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. But I don't think it's a big deal because you probably wouldn't have much room for dessert anyway. The food portions are pretty generous :) we left very happy with our meal.
Great evening, with refreshing cocktails, good food and the extraordinary service of the team, especially the always smiling and professional Sarah. Well done guys! I'll be back!
Very interesting food, very good service. Nice atmosphere. Staff always trying to make their customer happy. The chef even came to my table as there was a some issue with my order. I will definitely come back
Outstanding food, drinks, and ambiance! The food is so flavourful, it's not for those who enjoy bland! Great date night place or reserve a table on the back patio if you have a large party.
Our overall experience was good - we enjoyed our meal and the service was ok. Unfortunately, the restaurant was changing their menu, so many of the dishes were not available. In addition, it was 8:00pm, but several of the mains were sold out, and we weren't informed until we were ready to place our order. Given the quality of the food, we would give the restaurant a second chance.
Nice friendly place with great food and drinks. Parking can be a problem during peak hours but if you are drinking the great rum based cocktails, you shouldnt be driving at all! Great for a pre or post show drinks venue after a performance at the nearby Kreta Ayer People's Theatre.
Food was fantastic, excellent service, overall a great experience. Recommended dishes: Caribbean seafood cakes, jerk chicken skewers, oxtail, fried plantains, macaroni pie... My mother was pleased that there were yummy vegetarian options as well.
Was a great experience and we enjoyed the banana cake with honey and fig ice cream tremendously. The ribs were a bit small but the great dishes made up for the portions. Do check out the rum bar above !
We were treated well. Our favorites were the beet salad and the tender and very tastey Curry Curry Goat. The Jerk Chicken was not as memorable, though not bad.
The atmosphere was very nice and the service was great! Food was delicious - we had ribs, calypso fish, and curry mutton. Would definitely visit again.
Food was excellent! We all had a great time. The macaroni pie is an amazing little pot of Mac n cheese.... Yum!!! The other dishes were all delicious too.
Lime House has the casual vibe we were looking for to unwind after work. We enjoyed the pina coladas and mojitos. The jerk chicken skewers and wings were yummy but the vegetarian appetizers could do with some tweaking.
Delicious food. Unique cuisine in Singapore. Nice ambience. Great service. Loved the jerk chicken & blackened fish. Will consider coming back soon to try other dishes.
Awesome experience. Will definitely be back for the delicious and wonderful food and drinks. The wait staff were also attentive and quick to attend to us, though they were, at times, a little too eager to clear out our dishes.
Ambience is great, dim lights and nice decor helped to set the stage for a nice dinner. Food was greatly delicious, except for the fact that every dish comes with different forms of potatoes (mashed, sweet potato, wedges) which made us feel quite overwhelmed after awhile. Prices are a little steep for the quantity of food, but with the good service, ambience and quality of food, it was worth it.
Location is good. Nice decor n interior. Loved the set lunch menu - good pricing. What impressed me was the service staff Ages - hope I spelt this correctly. He was the only staff there n he took our orders without writing it down n got it right! He refilled our water without us asking. There were 2 other tables besides ours. Food wise loved the salad, soup and the banana cake. Mains were ok - the fried fish is very good. And great music too!
Great service, and good advice so our order was just right! This is my 3rd or 4th time to visit Lime House and the experience has been consistently good.
Nothing to complain about, actually. We had the Curry Goat (I know, it sounds a bit too exotic but really was quite nice) and the pan fried fash with Caribbean sauce (forgot the actual name). Both were very appetising, flavourful without being overwhelming. The dessert, pina colada was innovative and refreshing. Took a look at the second storey lounge area, and it was spacious and well decorated. Will try that next time with friends!
Great food, great rum & great service. Have a drink in the bar upstairs before or after dinner. Will be back for sure as soon as possible.
Lime house was a bit quiet tonight but the host was super friendly and helpful! My friend and I had a wonderful time! Will be back soon~
This was my 3rd visit to Lime House. Cozy ambience and great service. Ordered the Jerk chicken and the Half Ribs which were both delicious.
food is nice, but the price is a bit more than the value. It is worthy trying their main course , especially amex card has 50% off on the food. I don't think i will be regular guest for the kind of price on food, however drink is not expensive though.
Food was fabulous.. Good cocktails, especially at the bar on level 2.. The host of the restaurant is excellent! He really made our entire experience there memorable.
Great food as per usual! Love going to this place for the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely bring more friends back here to sample.
Hits and misses. Seafood cake starter was generous and appetizing. Jerk chicken was great - succulent and flavorful and a must have. Bbq ribs were a clear miss - sauce was fine but the rib was so dry and stringy. House special pineapple mojito was a waste of money - very sour (had to add 2 jugs of syrup) no taste of pineapple or mint. Ambience was chill and laid back but a bit too dark at night such that you couldn't really see what you were eating.
The service was very gracious. I took a date and the staff seemed to be extra attentive and came right up when I dropped a spoon. The Filipino waitress was super nice.
The food is delicious but portion small. Their signature Jerks chicken ok, not that fantastic as a bit salty. The cocktail drinks so so. Restaurant atmosphere quite cozy. Overall ok.
Very friendly staff, at all levels, with good food and drinks. We did have a good experience dining here. On the negative: a bit cramped - considering they have so many floors, maybe on the weekends they need to extend the dining spaces to the other floors - and noisy. Food service time was fine though, in spite of it being almost full.
My friends and 1 liked the atmosphere but thought it was very poor quality of food. The bottle of wine we ordered wasn't worth the money and the coffee cappuccino/latte we ordered was practically just warm milk with a tiny shot of coffee I definitely wouldn't go back again!
Food was a little too salty for our taste, both appetizers and mains. It was Relatively quiet for a Friday night. Service was good though.
Service is ok. Food wise is not worth the value. Taste is not authentic, especially the jerk chicken, quite tasteless. With this price, will not return.
They have great, authentic-tasting modern Caribbean food. There's a great atmosphere, and the cocktails are tasty and strong, just how they should be ~ I love the place!
The pan fried sea bass was excellent. Rum festival rum was just ok. Tables are pretty close to each other on the ground floor; so the next table might eavesdrop on your conversation.
Expected it to be a more happening place but turned out to be relatively quiet for a Friday night. Good food overall. Would go back for seconds :)
Food was good. However there was a loud party with lots of drunk people on the floor above us, which ruined our romantic dinner experience due to loud banging, shouting and stamping
Nice value for money , will return again . Reservations is a must as they are always full house . Staff are very friendly n knowledgable
