Foo excellent. Service - mediocre. Private room is good only if the next room are not loud and noisy like in our case. Sashimi and grilled salmon collar are exceptional.

Delicious!!! Chose a sweet sake to go with it. Perfect. Enjoyed the pitan tofu particularly. Everything was fresh. It wasn’t crowded too when we visited on Saturday.

Very impersonal service at this Jap restaurant - no smiles, no usual irraishaimase greeting, no warmth felt here at all. All making for an uneventful and expensive visit unfortunately. My second time here but unlikely to return in the future. One gets much better treatment as a customer elsewhere!

A Japanese Restaurant in a shopping mall. Atmosphere is not bad, price is on a higher side comparing to normal Izakaya. Japanese rice used was not so nice.

The food definitely is good. The must order is Crab Beancurd/toufu and Hiyashi Gyomen (something like fish paste noodle). The gyomen is pink in color and the taste to me is good.

A nice cosy Japanese restaurant. Quite a good variety and price wise is slightly above average. We ordered 2 Bentos for $35 each and quality is pretty good.

The fish we had were not very fresh —we didn’t finish our food The service staff are prompt in automatically topping up our hot tea which is a plus point But one or two of the ladies in kimono tended to be very curt n rough : not so polite as to be expected

Food is quite fresh. Pretty standard Japanese faire but I would rate the quality above sushi tei. Nothing out of the world spectacular, everything is what one would expect of a decent Japanese restaurant. I would come back if I am in the area and have a craving for Japanese food but will not go out of the way for this one.

We seen some table was served with free desert but we were not given. In fact when I had a dinner in April free desert was served too.

Wonderful food. Amazing service. Only downer was there was this noisy group who once they arrived changed the atmosphere altogether as they had no consideration for other customers... When i told one of the wait staff that we were hungry she rushed whatever she could for us and we really appreciated that.

Pleasant ambience for a nice dinner. Food is good. Love the grilled silver cod with miso flavour and the grilled beef with goose liver sauce.

The set lunch is value for money. The bentos are delicious. There is option to choose rice or udon. Will go back to the restaurant soon.

Tough itis a little-pricey. It is well compensated by the freshness and the delicious and charming presentation of the food. The physical ambience though can be worked on to match the excellent service provided by the staff to make the whole dining experience complete. Press on to your clent’s Eating delight.

Still a good place for Jap food at a reasonable price. Just that service can be slightly slow when there's too many people around. 15% discount with UOB card is a plus too!

We ordered the dinner set. Food is pretty decent. For the price, I think it's a good deal. Environment is quite classy too. Service was prompt but the waitresse does not seems to be very friendly.

FOOD AND SASHIMI ARE GREAT BUT THEIR SERVICE IS ALWAYS A QUESTION MARK. OVERALL GOOD EXPERIENCE. RESTAURANT'S TRAINING OF STAFF AND THEIR EXPRESSIONS CAN BE IMPROVED.

This is a peaceful place for gathering. It is rather quiet for a Sunday. The set lunch is considered cheap for the portion given. Service is good.

The service was very good and the waitress were very attentive. We ordered the Shake Tori Don Gozen from the dinner set menu and is very value for money. Will be back again.

Very good value bento sets. Food quality is good but more Impressive for the price. It is located in the quieter part of Orchard. So can avoid the mad rush and go shop before or after to the more densely packed areas.

2nd visit and we tried the dinner set menu. The beef set was good. The caterpillar maki was awesome as well.

Pretty good value for set lunches. Ordered the bara chirashi option but it didn't have a lot of fish. Would be great if there was an option to top up for more fishes. But the mackerel and sushi set meal was quite substantial.

Food and ambience is really good. Highly recommend beef teriyaki. Spider maki was awesome too. Had dinner on weekday evening which wasn’t noisy at all.
