Good weather to have hot soup during a rainy day. As always, very popular and very crowded during lunch time. Kimchi soup was spicy but lacking ingredients, so was quite a disappointment. Seemingly I feel that their lunch is less and less worth it and should go for their fried pork or chicken at $15 instead
Great service from the staff and thanks very much for holding the table for us! We were rushing from work and we’re a bit late, but the waiter was so nice to hold the table for us. Food was average, the Place was kinda noisy.
Service & Food is good! Will come back again for more
Another good experience at Joah with good Korean food at reasonable price
Lunch sets are worth getting. Every day is a different set
Good experience at Joah with a good variety at reasonable pricing. Always packed during lunch time which means the service staff might not be able to entertain your request. But continued to be value for money
Overall foods is not bad except black noodles and seafood noodles are tasteless
Been coming here for lunch for the past 3 weeks! Lots on the menu to try!
Side dish was nice. A lot of variety. will be back!
Noisy crowded understaffed and staffs were rude and unwilling to serve clients
Nice food & serving is fast despite lunch crowd during weekday.
Food was good. Service was quite fast. There are daily lunch sets available.
Nice food with valuable for money lunch set - will be back soon.
The ginseng chicken is nice!! Must try. Side dishes nice too.
Nice restaurant and nice food also! We will visit again
Good choice of Korean food with free flow of Kim Chee! Queue can be long with lunch crowd if not booked first. Noisy during lunch.
Lunch menu has a pretty decent selection, but it can get really packed during lunch hour.
It’s good!! We enjoyed the dining experience here and will return
Value for money lunch sets. Near work place and great place for gathering with colleagues.
Good food and location at heart of Raffles place mrt
Overall a great place to dine in. Gingseng chicken must try.
The food is good and worth it. Just that during lunch time, where it gets crowded the noise level is abit unbearable. Had the kimchi soup which is serve piping hot.
Had already been there a handful of times. Great food and quick service. Also it was really empty which was great for us but quite a shame for them.
It's one of the few places that has Sundubu Jiggae (Spicy Tofu Stew) and Doenjang Jiggae (Bean Paste Stew) that brings me back to the memories of having piping hot stew in Myeongdong during the cold winter season..
The ginseng chicken soup is abit salty today. Atmosphere is not as rowdy as usual. Perhaps due to cny period.
Great service. Managed to get the lunch special - ginseng chicken. Usually sold out by noon ! So very happy. As always - great service rendered by the restaurant captain .
the food was good and service was quite fast as well. i would visit again. the food was reasonable prices as well. highly recommended. try it out
This time round both food and service were good. Mainly cause the waiters were young and were not stingy with the sides. Food was served quickly this time round too. Good experience
Nice authentic Korean food with good service. Will return again.
Too busy restaurant. Under staffed. Served the wrong item ordered kimchi stew but waitress commented is the kimchi stew though no kimchi can be found inside the soup with pork belly which obviously is not kimchi stew.
Great value. Good food at affordable prices! Have been returning
Great value with good food! Have been returning weekly! Good find
Good food good service. Always one of my favourite place to go to at Raffles Place. They have a wide selection of food to choose from
Same good vqlued food. Service was okay, just a little shorthanded
We have a total of 11 paxs and we had to book 2 tables as the maximum no. of paxs for reservations is for 10paxs only. The restaurant made a call confirmation with me and even reserved 1 long table for all of us. So, the service is very excellent and the food is delicious.
The lunch set is value for money. The kimchi soup was a bit on the salty side but overall enjoyed the dining experience.
Cheap and decent lunch options in CBD given the lack of choices. A bit inconsistent as the ginseng chicken soup turned out to be very salty in this visit. Staff are over worked as they looks angry most of the times. But because it's value, always crowded
Not bad.. food is delicious but limit for choice. Not crowded at all mayb it’s Friday night.
the restaurant looks understaffed, customer service not up to standard, food is medicore and portion is small, they are not generous with side dishes, disappointing experience
Service has been going down. I had to call for refill for 6 times before someone comes over. I knew it would happen so I usually ask for more side dishes at the side, but they kept insisting that I can call for refills so there is no need to give more side dishes at the start. I can understand this, but despite repeatedly calling for refill, each time is still very little each time. I'm truly disappointed with the service.
Service needs to be improved as they seem to be stingy with the sides even after repeatedly asking for a refill. Other than that, the food is very value for money - only for Tuesdays.
Food is fantastic and the price is reasonable, service is great too
The staff will be more pleasant if they smile more. Delivery of food is quite fast considering the lunch crowd. Taste of food is so so only.
Ginseng Chicken on Tuesdays are absolutely worth the money. However, I feel more bowls can be catered for the high demand as it always runs out before 12 noon, making a lot of people miss out in this dish. Service here is generally good for most servers, but a particular one has a bad attitude. Overall, very value for money, not to mention good sides. Would definitely return for the chicken in Tuesdays!
Overall good experience with their value for money lunch. Reasonably priced with authentic Korea food. Side dishes were rather limited versus other Korean restaurants though
We had the lunch time set. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The portion is just nice as well. Good to eat and value for money. Highly recommended :)
Overall the food is value for money & waiting time is reasonable too. My all-time favorite whenever I want to have a good Korean meal.
Price for lunch time set is reasonable. Weekday lunch reservation is required unless you are willing to wait for more than 30 mins for table.
The food at Joah never fails to disappoint me. I visit the restaurant once every few months and everybody who I've introduced to the place thus far love it.
We tried the ginseng chicken soup, tofu soup, steam egg and instant noodle. The ginseng chicken soup is nice. Service is good, will be back.
