All ginseng chicken sold out on the Tuesday when it's still at 1215... pls prepare more next time
Food here is pretty good but the atmosphere is just too rowdy during the lunch crowd. Not too ideal for chatting. Ginseng chicken soup and pork dumplings were some good choices!
Good ambience and decent korean food. Love the seafood kimchi soup. Must try
everything was good. as it is in CBD area.. so not much people at night.. good for gathering
Staff was helpful and the food was good.. it's my go to for spicy tofu stew. Almost comparable to what I had in a little restaurant in Myeongdong..
It was a Good experience. The place was Clean and professional. There were a Wide variety of food. Overall it is Palatable and affordable. Good!
Good food and ambience is nice. Service is good. We have been repeatedly returning to the restaurant as we really enjoy the food and the price is reasonable though we would enjoy promotional items on the menu if possible.
Decently priced Korean food in CBD where the queue can be pretty Long as most go for their daily specials. Non daily specials are decently priced though because of the prices, sides are rather limited compared to other Korean places
Very reasonable price if you go with their weekly lunch specials where the queue and crowd already says it all
Called to inform that I was late and staff were able to acknowledge when I arrived. Pleasant staff offering good and attentive service. Offer a wide variety of choices of Korean cuisine to choose from.
We had a pleasant dining experience. The food was really not bad and the staff were friendly. We will not hesitate to go back again!
Order arrive very fast I will recommend my Friend next time
Nice mains, side dishes are mediocre. Service was much better than my previous visit. Environment was slightly noisy, but expected for Raffles Place lunch crowd. Will come again.
Good food . Service quick. Very crowded. Will come back again
The food was great but the service could be improved. We also found a mini slug in our lettuce and when we inform the staff, she just brought the lettuce to the back without apologising or anything.
Food was great but because of the crazy lunch crowd service was a bit slow and they can't react. But value for money and definitely worth going
Waiters were polite and inform us that there is a 10 min waiting time if we order a certain dish. This is helpful especially if the diner cannot wait too long.
Food is excellent as usual. Service is reasonable considering the lunch time crowd. Value for money.
The food is nice in general but one of the ginseng chicken soup served is not hot, it's warm. Rather disappointed with the not so soup.. It would be better if the portion of side dishes could be more generous.
We came here for lunch and had the beef rib soup and steamed egg. Overall it is okay for a typical lunch, not too shabby.
not bad. service quite fast and worth for it. Good for having gathering at there. Price is acceptable and sure will visit next time round.
The lunch daily value meal is value for $$$ & good service despite lunch crowd. I have been visting his outlet every fortnight without fail.
Great food great value . Staff very friendly and attentive. Will go again. They should increase their daily specials though - sold out in 30 mins of opening !?
Daily value meal is worth it. Banchan can be refilled upon request. Very crowded during lunch so best to go early or book in advance
Super efficient service. Love the beancurd kimchi soup and overall I really like the place and food. Lunch set was very affordable too! Will definitely be back again
Joah never disappoints me, been there a few times and the service of the staff has been consistent, they served the best seafood pancake!
Nice place good for catchup, price was reasonable :) staff are very kind and try to help although they are busy! Would recommend to others :)
First visit to the restaurant. Went on Sat for lunch at 12.30pm. Guess is because of Sat, the restaurant was quiet. Another 4 more customers came after we went in. Ambience is great as we have a lot of privacy for a nice meal and photo taking for our girl's 13th bday there. We enjoyed the food. JaJangMyeon the best! Refilling of hot water to green tea can be improved further though as we had to request for refill for many times. Spent $70+ for ginseng chicken soup set meal, steamed egg set meal, JaJangMyeon, sweet sauce Korean chicken, hot green tea, hot yuzu tea and cold yuzu. Will go back to try other menu items again.
Staffs are friendly & serve good foods but the foods served a little slow, have been waiting for half an hour, may be because of lunch hour.
Very nice food and ambience in restaurant. Waiter was very helpful. Food is delicious with Wide variety of choices. Will visit this place again definitely!
4th time going to Joah and my guests and I always love visiting the restaurant. The dishes are good and affordable. Even the side dishes are tasty!
Pros: Prompt service, spacious, affordable dishes. Cons: Loud music that although attracts younger crowds but make conversations between diners difficult. Recommendations: To use bigger trays to serve side dishes, put tea kettle at table for diners to refill drinks themselves.Scrap 7% tax.
Fast Service, Great Food, Affordable Price! :D Spacious and there are many varieties of food to choose from! :) Staff were also attentive to customers!
Portion for side dishes were little for 4 pax. they used to give one set for 2 pax. Now it's reduced to 1 set for 4 pax, though it's refillable but to get them to do so takes a long time as they are busy running around during peak hour lunch period.
went in a group of 5 on a weekday afternoon and it was crowded. noisy environment but otherwise good variety of food. food was ok.
There was good variety of Korean food to choose from the menu. The food was also tasty. Prices are inexpensive. Value for money. Not too crowded on a weekday night. Overall a pleasant experience.
Food was decent, not great, and the place is far too noisy, the whole place has a very food court feel to it, don't think I will be returning to this restaurant any time soon.
food is good value for money. Ambience is nice and convenient location. However, our table for 4 pax was too small and cramp. Make it challenging to place the dishes.
Value for money. For the taste of the food, the price is reasonable in CBD area. The steam egg is awesome! Favourite of the menu is ginseng chicken.
Very pleasant experience. Staffs were friendly and food is good. The army stew we ordered is just right. Interior Ambience is nice. Highly recommended for gathering or dating with a view.
Thought would be very crowded so made reservation. Thankfully, its not crowded during dinner time:) Service was also pretty good but due to not many staffs, would have to wait a while to get their attention:x Portion may seem small but was more than enough for my mum & I😂😳 Ordered spicy pork & kimchi soup (came along with rice) as well as green tea. The taste of the tea is not very strong but matches well with the food I ordered:) Tea is free flow and same for the side dishes. Staff was kind to offer to top up the side dishes and tea after we asked to top up the tea. Side dishes was also pretty yummy especially the kimchi and the kelp😁 About $15+ per person Would prob go again:) Hope there will be more food choices like 냉면 and more😁
V gd service, polite, prompt and gd food, a place where i absolutely love to go for lunch with friends. Highly recommended! Will try for dinner next time
Very good ginseng chicken soup and amazingly fast service. The chicken was tender and soup was thick and tasty. The kimchi and various confinements could be individualised though (a set for each person) instead of shared.
Service was pleasant. We ordered the steam egg (2nd time having it there because it's so good), army stew (not bad but we wished the broth was thicker) and Set B for bbq meat - pork collar and pork belly (pork belly was a little tough and pork collar slightly salty if eaten without the lettuce, but overall rather flavorful). Great experience!
Staff was very busy and a bit hard to get their attention. Food was good. overall experience was good :) recommended for next visit cheers!
Food was served fast and service was good. Will visit again. Portions for Side dishes should be bigger so less refilling needed. Nevertheless they were fast to refill when requested
Superb food and attentive staff. Managed to skip queue with online reservation. But noted that they only take maximum up to 3 reservations online during lunch time
Reasonable pricing with gd food. Need to reserve early to avoid long queues
Went on a Monday night and the place wasn't too packed. The restaurant was easy to locate (right beside raffles place mrt) and brightly lit. Food wise, it is a tad pricey taking quality and quantity into consideration. Overall, if you are looking for a joint to meet up with friends, it's still a good choice.
Went in the weekends and we experienced a very good service! Will help to refill the side dish each time we finished. Each time we have any request for example, extra bowl or a ladle for the soup their responses were very fast. Although from other reviews I saw from other post saying that their service was slow but from my experience it wasn't that way. Most probably it was because we went during the weekends.
