Best tonkatsu ever. Soft and succulent and they gave a rly big portion of cabbage too

Extremely delicious tonkatsu and even more delicious shredded cabbage with sesame sauce. Efficient and polite service. Happy I booked because there was a queue.

The restaurant is quite nice and the food is quite good - esp for people who love fried food. Reasonably price and have set lunch deals as well.

Restaurant was easily located at level 1 of Star Vista. The service was prompt, the waiting time for the food was reasonable & the portion was filling.

Love the katsu though they close a little early. Don't go at 8pm as it will be a bit rush.

A bit expensive for the tonkatsu. My portion was a bit dry and not juicy enough.

Simply put, Imakatsu is one of the best katsu restos in town.

Nice and big portion for 4 pax set. They give extra curry sauce and cabbage for leftover that we brought back.

Food was alright. Felt that pork katsu favour can be better managed. But overall quiet and certainly a pleasant place to dine in.

There was a middle aged waitress who was most helpful as compared to the younger servers. The food was good. My second visit at this Star Vista location. Have also patronised the outlet at Tg Pagar some years ago pre Covid times. Was asked to leave after an hour and the explanation they gave was that it was a busy lunch hour. I didn’t think that was good service.

Tonkatsu was reasonably thick, soft and juicy on the inside. It was delicious and the staff were attentive,

The embience is nice , food taste great, didnt wait for too long for our food , service from waitress so-so , prices abit expensive, still worth visiting this place again.

Food is tasty and service is fast. I ordered unagi egg don. Very yummy when eat together with the cabbage salad provided. Just one thing to note is they don’t accept e-capita vouchers so you need to redeem the physical vouchers if you want to use there.

My friend recommended me to try the Chicken fillet katsu and it was good choice! The chicken is so tender! I always thought pork is their signature but chicken is too good!

We were slightly early and restaurant was quite empty. Told the girl that I had a reservation at 1pm, she said I’d okay & we were led to a table . No attempt was made to see my reservation number, so not sure if it’s ‘registered’. Anyway, our order was served quite fast, we both had the sushi’s rice set. Quite happy overall with food & service. Will visit again.

I have stayed in Japan for one year, and it’s hard to find a real Japanese restaurant in Singapore. Imakatsu is the restaurant that you can never miss if you want to have the genuine Japanese flavor food.

Perhaps the restaurant was understaffed for that day resulting in interrupted service which has room for improvement. Other than that, no complaints at all.

Good cutlet and service. Not crowded for weekday dinner. Will go back again.

The katsu itself was pretty good but rice taste a little odd. Kinda stale I would say, perhaps there is an need to clean out the rice cooker. For a proper katsu restaurant, I also wondered why there is separate charge of 80 cents and 50 cents for sesame seeds as well as extra pickles. Would go elsewhere then
