The friendly and accommodating waiters, the friendly kitchen staff, the easy-going and approachable restaurant owners and, most of all, the creative tasty menu beautifully presented and in portions that were just right. Indeed a gastronomical menu 8-)

The food was delicious and creative. Especially we were impressed by the snacks. The aircon in the restaurant was very strong.. just want to remind other diners to bring a jacket if going there.

Clear and easy to use to make booking. However, there is little we can do if we need to make changes. Hope quandoo can make some changes to that.

Booket a spot in the gastro bar and is was an awfull experience. No people, no atmosphere and bad service. You had the oportunety to place us in the main restaurant do to a small number of guests... but we where left alone in the bar that you use as dessert preparations.... an total dissapointment!

Great creative food with attention to detail. Extensive wine list focusing on red and white burgundy from a big variety of vintages. Mr. Iggy is a charming host who is very welcoming and eager to assist with the wine list.

Tastes are very good, but service is not good. First of all, a staff lead me at a uncomfortable seat because of a leg of table. And I was one customer, I just seated toward a wall. Second, I can not hear the explantion of a man staff. Third, my right side there were wine and water glasses, but staff served right side, it was uncomfortable.

We had the festive menu. Food is pseudo Japanese and very flavorful. The main course is great (Kagoshima Wagya) and melts in the mouth. The staff is attentive and quick to respond to its needs.

The food was decadent but lacks creativity. The service could also be improved on. Feels a bit stuffy and unfriendly. Perhaps the wait staff can ease up a bit

Set menu was nice. Food presentation and taste was above expectations. Some dishes were very complex to analyze but each time, the team explained what they are serving. They offered an alternate as well if u don't like something from the main course items. I only wish they had options for lamb meat in their menu. I will definitely recommend others to try this place. Brandon was the manager at the restaurant who took care of our dinner reservations. Staffs were very courteous. 2 people cost would come about 600 ~ 650 sgd if u add 2 glasses of wine and sparkling water to your menu.

Lovely restaurant. The set lunch comes with a range of amuse bouche too. Service is great and Mr and Mrs Igniatus Chan are warm and humble. They help to serve despite being owners of a fine establishment that has lasted so long.

I had the lunch set for my friend’s birthday treat. However the portion was way too small and we had to go for pasta immediately after that to fill our stomach. :(

Time waited between courses was inconsistent and sometimes too long...this should be consistent when you are having a “tasting style menu” Some dishes were delicious & inventive (scotch egg curry puff) others were completely bland (heritage tomato) and cold storage sell better tomatoes. I don’t go to a top end restaurant to eat poor quality ingredients. A couple of staff were robotic in their delivery of food descriptions, suggesting they had never tried the food and were unfamiliar with the ingredients. Toilets should be clean too. Wouldn’t go back.

You can taste the distinct flavour of all the ingredients. The pigeon is an absolute must try, tender, juicy and totally not gamey at all. I will definitely go back soon again.

An excellent fine dining experience with an innovative match of courses and contrasting tastes. Good ambience and attentive service in an unhurried relaxed atmosphere. A pair of inconsiderate businessmen who talked and sniggered too loudly was a distraction.

Food is nice, the wine is the best. We were at the gastrobar, we like the concept very much, butnthis’one looks temporary and we were sitting by some dishwashing station which is weird. The service is the most disappointing for such restaurant. We were proposed to move somewhere else and the staff never came back to us to move us or explain why it wasn’t possible. Staff attitude is rather bland. Disappointing, but usual in Singapore restaurants who want to be high end. Service does not improvise itself. It is an attitude and training.

Portions at the gastrobar are way more tiny than tasty. Wine was great though. General atmosphere at the gastrobar also wasn't great - we were looking into a back end kitchen / dessert station pretty much.

Don’t eat the bar! It’s still crazy $ & you face a wall. No atmosphere at all. Go to the main dining room. It is more $ but worth it. The bar is very $ for what you get (whereas I think you get what you pay for in the main dining rm at least).

Heard many good things about the gastrobar, and was not disappointed. Service was what one would expect of an establishment like Iggy’s, and food was prompt as well. Quality is amazing and executed with finess despite it being a more casual menu. Loved the eggs on egg starter, oxtail pappardelle, and cured duck breast. Prices were reasonable and huge value for the quality. Would highly recommend for a fun casual night out.

This is an experience not to be missed. Yes, it is VERY expensive, but totally worth it for the joy of dining in 1 Star Michelin Restaurant. A joy to watch the Chef and his team work meticulously on every plate, with total dedication to cleanliness and presentation. If you can get a seat near the window into the kitchen, then do so. It adds to the memory of this meal. Attentive wait staff and knowledgeable of the food and wine (and yes the wines are eye watering expensive). It is my second visit, spaced over a number of years. We will return!

Reception was great! Tables were spaced far apart which gave us reasonable adequate privacy. Kitchen was separated from dining area by a glass panel. Very clean. Snacks were all nice and good, other than the chilli plant. In fact better than the actual courses. Kokotxas was not pleasing... Bluntly, it simply tastes like fish in salt water. Description of the dish wasn't very appropriate too. We commented the taste to the waitstaff but wasn't really given any attention. =(

Good and pleasant experience; creative ways of presenting food; taste of food was good but not extraordinary; may go again; cancellation of $120 fee is too much
