Service at hai di lao is getting from good to bad. Maybe its because of the busy timing when we dine in. Service make a mistake to final bill as we intended to use our discount coupon but fail to utilise even after asking 3 different servers whether we can use this vouchers. All three answered possible to use. But when come to the time to make payment, the guy that service us say that we are not able to use.

My reservation was at 7pm but I end up getting into the restaurant at like 8.30. They were quite apologetic about it so that's fine. Had a great time nonetheless!

Queue wait time was okay, food and service standards were still good despite the crowds. Because of said crowds, do not expect service crew to be as attentive.

I was surprised that there was a staff who cannot speak English.

The staff was very attentive to our needs. I requested for a concoction for mala soup base and she was able to mix it to my liking. We also celebrated my birthday with song, a piece of cake and a fruit platter. It made it pleasant and memorable for us. Thank you to the staff who attended to us constantly.

Waiting time is acceptable and service staffs are friendly. I always request for window seats when I am there and the staffs always manage to help me to reserve. Tq and keep it up:)

The service is slow. Snacks out if stock and limited side dishes.

Side dishes at Marina Square outlet is slightly lesser. Design of the sauce counter is rather inconvenient as porridge & dessert is right inside & you have to stretch your hand to scoop

Have to wait a while even after making reservation through Quandoo. The service is still good at HDL.

Nothing much bad about this hotpot place. Service was good as usual and cool to have the automated robots. Just the lighting was a little weird and unsure if the timer was wonky. Overall good food but also prefer to have more segregations between the tables.

Hdl has a reputation for their excellent service but the experience this time has not been up to their high standards. we had one server waiting about 5 tables. we are often unable to get her attention and even when she comes by, she is busy with other customers. we enjoyed the food as usual and condiments station. we didn't had to wait and were seated almost straight away. the person making their signature noodle also failed several times. our take is that the branch us severely understaffed and the staff are overworked, hence causing the service standards to drop. a pity though, because the service experience is exactly what makes hdl worth coming back.

Very nicely outfitted outlet of HDL with a different design concept that features a more grayscale palette and LED displays. Service here is very touch and go, and servers aren’t the usual friendly and jovial kind. I don’t care for it, but the servers were on the verge of being unfriendly.

This isn’t actually a reservation, just for the property queue!

The food and service was good. However, despite the reservation, we waited for 1.5 hours before being seated.

Staff was friendly and the food is as usual, very yummy.
