Nice ambience. Staffs are willing to help with the menu when asked. Food are fresh and taste wonderful. The price is almost reasonable but would be better if it's on discount for some
great service great seafood. great menu and fresh take away seafood
Excellent food. However we had a small issue when we arrived, were given a bad table in the middle of the room next to a table of badly educated kids, despite booking and indicating it was for a birthday
Pleasant experience, food was very fresh, no fuss seafood dining. Will be back to try other items in the menu!
Would hv given a higher rating if not for the fact that selection of oysters was restricted to only canadian as the rest were not available. Reason was that supply was late.
Great service and food but the prices seem a bit steep.
Good service and quality food. Wish restaurant was a little bigger though as the tables are set quite close to each other. Will be going back for the Oyster festival in Jun!
dont think its as good as it use to be !!
Food is good. So is wine.. Tried the hot platter, seafood basket, black cod seared, atlantic cod seared, jumbo prawns, lobster bisque, hamachi grilled, blue fin seared, boston lobster.. Recommend the black cod being the best of lot..fatty n nicely seared though on one occasion it was not as well as the initial but the sauce made up for it.. Wouldnt recommend the lobster bisque though. Famed by my friends for their prawns, was pretty decent too. Hot platter took awhile but well worth the wait. Gona try the hamachi seared next..grilled was kinda dry for taste though.. they have oysters which i ll be giving a shot as well.. All in all..this is a great place for fishes and seafood craves.. Good service too. With the recommendations all lined up to help suit ur preferences. Did i mention the nice flow of bread?...piping hot..yummy
Service is great with a knowledgeable gentleman giving details and recommendations. As for food, the snapper is great but the char grilled special of the day is so so and not worth the 39.90 price tag. Dessert menu could Do with a bit more variety. Overall experience is good and will visit again to try other delicacies
Overall good n fresh food quality n taste great. Lacking: Parking space, had to circle 15mins n only found an illegal parking space in the back lane. Valet svc is not helpful as I'm concerned where us a safe place they park when everywhere is full. Had to finish quickly n go. Staff svc not fantastic as there are so few staff to give more attn to diners. Tables are set too close so it's very noisy when everyone speak n disturbing when we try to speak with all the noise around as some people speak very loudly.
We really enjoyed the lunch there from the delicious food, nicely set tables to the friendly people who served us. Appreciated the place better when the noisy guests at the nearby table left. This was the only not so enjoyable part of our experience there. Everything else was very good. We thank you all there at the restaurant for making the afternoon one memorable moment.
Went in the noon, friends ordered same hot platter, prawns were battered n fried instead of grilled. lady did not explain why so we decided to just give the fried a shot. nice battering but prefer the grilled form. mussles werent as fresh as previous dinner order as well. ordered alacarte black cod fish but it had a foul taste. best to go for dinner instead where food are FIFO(first in first out) for the fresher produce.
Server couldn't recommend a proper fish based on preference. Dish came and the fish meat and so tough, it tasted like dried breast meat. Oysters had tiny grains of sand, not as fresh as claimed to be. Only part that saved this meal and the foie gras dish which was fabulous
The food was excellent, though it was a little too expensive in my opinion. The service was excellent when I first arrived, but felt it was hard to get the waiter's attention after our first order.
Off the beaten track with great food and atmosphere, service could be improved. Daily specials are good value - lobster Monday is a reason alone for a visit.
