The service is prompt and the food portion is sufficient
The food was very delicious, especially the fish soup, chai Poh fried Kway Teow, fire pork rib, ngoh hiang, hai cheong kai and the first class or nee is a must have desert. 👍
Very good service, good food , good atmosphere. Staff are very attentive to your needs. The even went the extra mile to provide plates for cake
Service standard needs improvement. Were there for a birthday celebration and asked service crew help to clear the table after our meal. The crew only cleared 3 out of 6 and passed us the birthday cake- literally took out from the fridge, without removing the carrier bag and cake box. No greeting, no welcome, even no thank you, no eye contact from the crew lead when seeing us leaving the restaurant. Bit over price given to the restaurant environment and food standard, could have enjoyed dinner at a better environment at this price. Food served was so-so to me, nothing fantastic.
Good service and friendly staffs. Foods is nice and reasonable. Good service and friendly staffs. Foods is nice and reasonable. Will likely go back again.
Great food and service! Been here several times and will continue to do so
Food is ok but staff is not really attentive. Look to repeat my orders as staff is always on the ear piece listening to others. Abit irritating but food is good and decently priced.
Good very yummy food. Nice cool air conditioning area. Authentic traditional food. I like the fried oyster eggs and the yam paste. Cold crab Abit expensive..
enjoyed the time there, simple and good teochew fare for the family
food was great! very spacious dining area which was quickly filled with other diners. highly recommended for family dinners! my favourite dish was their orh nee (yam paste), they added fried shallots and scallion oil which makes it so much more aromatic, definitely ended the meal on a high with that dessert :)
Authentic teochew food. Must order are teochew fried Kway teow and cold crab. The herbal chicken stuffed with lotus seeds and other ingredients turned is warming and so delicious. Another winner is the salted egg crayfish. Service is great too. Very friendly.
Nice food at affordable price!!! We will love to return to restaurant for next gathering. Hope we have more offer and promotions from the restaurant.
Food is nice and affordable! Serving of food is fast as well! It was a nice experience. The location is kinda out of place though it is a 10min walk from Serangoon MRT station.
Good food and great service. Be sure to order the claypot pomfret soup if u have enough people. Prices are reasonable also. Thumbs up!! Will definately be back.
awesome traditional teochew food. casual n nostalgic feel. went on fri evening n waiting time was reasonably fast.
Very delicious Teochew food. I have been there many times and will definitely recommend this place to friends and relatives. I love their yam dessert too.
The food there is generally good n price is quite reasonable for some food Service is quite attentive but aircon too cold n quite noisy especially weekend
Went on a Sat night. Authentic hokkien food. Dinner tabkes are in the shopping centre lobby. Service has improved. Signature dishes are all ok. Chilli crab only so so...
Food is not so fantastic. The place is located in a very old shopping center with a big sitting area, pre book before you go.
Great teohew cuisine at affordable prices around my neighbourhood! A must order is the braised duck, cai po omellete and orh nee for dessert. Good service too!
Food was excellent and delicious. Ordered cold crab, fried kway teow with chai po and oyster omelette for two person. Service staff were attentive and friendly. Would come back again
Went for dinner. Food is decent. Heavy on the MSG. The liver roll and prawn roll was good. Good wok Hei on the vegetables. Would skip the fish mall soup.
Repeat visit. This time with my whole team and most are visiting it for the first time and were surprised at the price (cheap) and the food quantity and quality.
Nice food and overall good dining experience. Had oyster omelette, pork jelly, fragrant pork ribs, 5 spices roll (both pork liver & prawn), sambal tapioca leaves, chye poh kway teow, and my family enjoyed the meal.
Very good oyster omelette! Also had prawn roll and duck! Both are recommended! Authentic pork jelly - not easily Found in other places. Will come again
Food was nice, especially the Ngoh Hiang and Fried Kuay Teow. Accept for atmosphere not very good as we are eating in atrium of shopping centre!
Food was great! Service was good as well. Would definitely go back again.
Spacious ...simple. and.. quiet... nice food.. cool. .easy to park. .relaxing.. polite. .and clear..good for family outing... peaceful a d clean environment ..easy accessible ..great
We particularly liked the steamed halibut which was excellent! The fried oyster omelette had huge oysters, passable. The braised pork with buns was way too salty for our family. We did not like the chye poh kway teow at all as it did not taste like how the dish should be. We did not expect to be put at the foot of the escalator. Overall, not too bad an experience. If we do not come back again, I don't think we will miss much of it except for the steamed fish and fried oyster omelette. Thanks!
Food was acceptable but service was terrible. Slow and bad customer service. Not a pleasant experience throughout. Will think twice before going there again. Leaves much to be desired.
Enjoyed the attentive and courteous service, The Teochew food is authentic and good. Surprisingly the fish head curry is very good. The price is reasonable and overall happy with the experience.
We've been to Fragrant Garden more than once and they never fail us each time. Great food once again except for the chye por kway teow which they forgot and had to cook it in record time.
nice ambience ample space for parking.good place for gathering. will come again
nice food good ambience. Good for gathering.nice food value for price
The food was nice. However the service was not that good. It could b the crowd. We wanted to order curry fish head but already sold out. May b next time can allow me to book the food in advance as well
Stewed pork tad bit salty. Oyster omelette is normal. Orh nee is rather unique with fried onion. The other typical teochew dishes are above average. Service can be improved.
Food was really tasty. We ordered so much because we wanted to eat everything. Good place for family dinner.
Pleasant experience. Staff was friendly n food was served quickly. Definitely will head back again to try the other food on the menus. Well done!
The staff practically ignore you when u needed their assistance like topping up hot water for the tea or clearing the dirty plates to make way for new ones. They only gave attention when we need to take order or make payment. Food was not bad but service is horrible.
No service charge, waiting staff could be more communicative, service too efficient until you feel like they can’t wait to turn around the table for next customer.
food was great except for the chilli crab which is pricy and not up to standard. oyster egg, orh nee was awesome. A nice place to come for normal tze char stuff.
Nice food. Service was prompt (Maybe it was Tuesday night). Enjoyed the meal together with a friend. Will order more food if going with a bigger group. :)
Food is nice, service is good. Staff is friendly as well. Will be even better if they can provide complimentary parking. Overall, good experience. Will come back again.
As always, the food was excellent. Ordered the steam promfret which was very fresh and the meat was sweet too. Had the duck and the prawn paste chicken, which the kids naturally loved. Ended off with the Orh Nee, which was deliciously fragrant!
They got two of our orders wrong! Quite disappointed in the orlua. It was soggy and too salty. Two of the better dishes were the sweet and sour ribs and hei cho.
Good and tasting home cooking. Try their oyster omelette, char kway teow with chai por and the steamed halibut or cod.
My second visit to this restaurant. Authentic Teochew food at affordable prices. Yam paste was great! Food served extremely quickly. Recommend it to anyone who loves Teochew food.
Food was amazing! Staff were very helpful too and willing to modify dish portions to suit our needs. Overall bill was pricier than expected though, so do be clear how much you are ordering.
It’s always a pleasure to dine there, with the wonderful Teochew and local dishes available. Superb quality for its price, and a great experience for yester-years vibe. Great for family meals and gatherings.
Food quality was good, the duck and the crayfish is highly recommended. Service wise need to be improve. We have a cake to be refrigerated however staff did not inform us that the fridge is full and just placed it outside throughout the dinner. Staff should clear the table top before serving the dessert and give us the cake. Seems to be in a hurry to chase us to foot the bill and leave.
