Good teochew food. Overall value for money. Will go back again
Great food, ok service. Seating is mainly outside the restaurant within a mostly deserted shopping centre.
Overall food was good. Yam paste quite authentic. Not too sweet to my liking.
Prices are rather steep for a restaurant that operates like an Aircon coffeeshop. Food is nice though but not the best I have tried.
The Hei zhor & Ngoh Hoang was good, the Oyster Omelette was good but a little too oily for me. Love the yam paste with gingko nuts especially with the fried onion chips. However be warned it came piping hot be careful not to burn your 👅!
Good food and special notes were taken care of. Highly recommended!
i frequent this restaurant quite a few times but this latest visit - food was not up to its usual standard.
Great Teochew food. One of my usual haunts which doesn't disappoint.
overall food is good except flaming pork which is too big slice.
Food was superb especially the steamed pomfret, braised pork with steam bun and yam paste. Will definitely go back.
Consistently great food .. will return back again next time
The food is great and A great place for gatherings
Good, authentic food. Staff were helpful and attentive. Reasonable prices
The venue was kind of old school, the food is nice!
Great food and decent service. Restaurant was full with most tables reserved.
Food was great as usual, arrived early and there wasn’t much waiting for food
We like the food served especially the 猪脚冻 and yam paste. Location is good and plenty of parking lots. The staff are friendly and efficient.
Nice food and good service and will recommend friends to Fragrant Restaurant.
Super yummy food! Due to the crowd, must be prepared to wait.
Food was great, slightly pricey. Customer service can be improved.
The food was good. Jelly pork n cold crab were very good.
It was really crowded, you definitely need to make reservation. It was my first time there, I didn’t know I had to mention about bringing a baby stroller, but the staff were very prompt in changing my table and shifted to a larger space. The staff were very family and knowledgeable. Foods were delicious especially the chilli crab!
Authentic Teochew food & delicious. Good for family dinner gathering as there is ample space.
Foods are good and reasonably priced. Convenient location and easy to park.
Patronised twice within a month. Ordered promfret soup. Very unique taste.
Food are nice and reasonable price. Will definitely go again
It was a busy night for the restaurant, yet the staff were very helpful and served willingly. There was a feeling of warmth, along with the traditional authentic food, it feels like eating together like a big family. We celebrated 3 birthdays, enjoyed ourselves very much for the delicious food and service. Highly recommended!
Good food and nice atmosphere. Car park sufficient. Pricing could be better.
Dishes were absolutely sumptuous, really worth the long distance from home to Upp Serangoon! Love the duck meat, fried oyster, vegetables and especially the ym dessert!
Food is good but service is slow due to crowd.
Food was a little slow this time round being served.
Authentic Teochew dishes. Definitely a good place for gathering with your elderly family members
love that the standard of the food is always constant!
Recommended. Value for money and heartland style. Would come again.
Lovely food. Whole family enjoyed it a lot. Braised duck is good
Repeat customers for team lunch, of which one of the member is first time at Fragrant Garden. He is full of praise for the Teochew food, especially the braised duck and cai po hor fan.
it was nice and food was great! will be back.
The food is nice! However, the waitress are all so rude when you did not order the expensive crab. When i found there is a fly inside my tea, the waitress just say “change my cup” not even change the whole pot! Attitude so rude!
Food is bland. Below our expectations. Interesting neighbourhood restaurant setting .
Food exceeded my expectation. Esp braised pork belly and duck.
good food! good service! will come back again! very nice
Second visit to Fragrant Garden, tried some dishes such as the pork jelly, oyster omelette, promfet soup, and chilli crab. Overall not bad, but the portion for the big yam paste ($30) was too stingy in our view, cannot even give 8 adults a decent portion. Might as well order 8 individual portions at $4 each, which would be more decent.
Good as always. The food and the service is wonderful.
Typical traditional asian restaurant setting. But great teochew cuisine that your elders will surely remember as taste of tradition.
service was superb food was authentic and value for money!
Their signature dishes are good. The braised duck and jelly meat are great.
Food is good but prices are quite high. Large space, good for family garhering
It's all about the food, and the very efficient service.
Service was good and foods were great, especially the desserts
Food was worth the try. My family and I Will visit again.
