Good comfort food. Enjoyed the oyster omelette and the flaming pork rib but will not order the lotus seed chicken again. I think they have one of the best orh nee (yam dessert).

Food was great n price reasonable. Recommended for families n larger groups. Would be great if there was waiver of corkage for expenditure above a certain amount.

Have been there quite a few times in the past but this time I would say to food was just ok. Being Teochews ourselves, the braised duck was rather disappointing, the meat was tough & the braised gravy wasn't as flavourful as it lacked of spices which the a real traditional braised duck should taste. I guess the better dishes were the prawn paste chicken wings, egg tofu with crab meat gravy, the chai por fried kway tiao that had that smoky flavour (wok hei). Perhaps due to the crowd & lack of manpower the food could be tat bit inconsistent like in the past. Perhaps going after the peak hours of the dinner crowd, the kitchen might do a lot better.

Good taste and fair price. Saturday and Sunday have to book in advance. Try the traditional jelly pork cubes and the mee goreng. Authentic taste of yesterday.

Excellent fresh steamed mullet, good fish maw soup, braised duck and prawn and liver rolls. The kuey teow had excellent 'wok hei' and the or nee was one of the best I have tasted in any other teochew restaurant. Great food and reasonably priced.

The food is yummy and the waiting staff are relatively attentive, despite the crowd. Thumb up to Ms Sun, who gave good recommendation of their menu, in relation to the taste buds of the elderly at the table. Yes, my family and friends enjoyed the food tremendously. A letdown (weakest link) is the cashier, who seemed overwhelm by the work and not customer service oriented. Waited more than 20 mins for the bill, though I did approach the cashier personally to pay and was told to return to my table to wait for the bill...thumb down.

Food was good but service standard has lapses & room to improve. Eg bringing soup without ladle & bowls, waited long while for dessert after food.

Authentic Teochew cuisine. Reasonable prices. Good for family gathering. Orh ni is unique. Better go without the fried shallots.

Authentic Teochew cuisine. Suitable for family dinners. Price is generally reasonable except for fish which is slightly pricier. The yam paste is a a definite must-order.

The pomfret soup was too salty. Fish is fresh and nice but price wise for this dish is on a higher side.

The pork jelly was excellent and we had melt in your mouth Kong Bak Pau. The chai Po Kway Teow cooked to perfection. The kids enjoyed the flaming pork show. Wonderful experience in a deserted old shopping Centre at night . Surreal experience.

Delicious Teochew fare served piping hot. Recommended to pre-order the cold crabs. Other noteworthy dishes are pork jelly, oyster egg, ngoh hiang/hae zhor. Can't wait to come back again.

Food was good but waiting time was super long. The entire dinner took us about 2 hrs to complete because the dishes took so long to be served. We had to wait about 20 mins in between some of the dishes. It actually spoiled the mood.

Food is good. Service is fast. Like the chay poh hor fun and the curry fish head. However the fried oyster omelette was disappointing as is has too much flour and it wasnt fried crispy enough, causing the whole dish to chew like semi-harden glue paste. this could be improved. overall is consider good.

Food was reasonably priced. Ordered the popular dishes : braised duck x 2 , flaming pork x2, prawn paste chicken, chaipo kwayteow, oyster orh lua, crab tofu, or nee. Total bill about $260 for 12 pax. Food was promptly served once seated. Will go again for future gatherings.

Food came v fast upon order and service was efficient enough. Cold crabs good (need pre order) but the rest of the dishes were really just so-so. Other than cold crabs we ordered the shuang pin, oyster omelette (flour too thick), lotus chicken, signature tofu with crab sauce and caipo kuay teow.

Dishes were all excellently executed and we enjoyed most of them very much. In particular, the steamed Teochew fish (not the pomfret, but a large fillet of a saltwater fish) and the ornee stood out as the best dishes of the night. Unfortunately, the restaurant is located in a relatively inconvenient place to go to and we'd probably only return for special occasions once in a while. But highly recommended for great and traditional Teochew dishes!

The food is absolutely amazing. Not sure if we can find another premise that cooks up such delectable authentic Teochew cuisine. Location is a bit remote but that’s probably why it’s a Hidden Gem in Singapore.. Will definitely return!

The waiting of the food and drinks to be served was not systematically monitored. The waiting time was not acceptable though it was not a full house last night. The quality of food was above average and the price was reasonable. The Pomfret Soup was excellent.

Good authentic teochew food in a quiet shopping centre, but still packed. Shows that a good restaurant does not need to be in a crowded place.

Food pricing has room for improvement as I felt it is expensive especially for the curry prawn at $5 per piece. Also service is not up to expectation as waitress keep telling you that food ordered is not enough as though there should be a minimum order quantity.
