Taste is good but feel that the pricing is a little overpriced for the quantity. Fluffy omelette is quite oily. Nice ambience. The sauce for the char siew(roast pork) is a little salty.

Food was great, service was great too. Price is kind of expensive range. Ambience level and décor was great too. However might want to edit the contents of the TV display. Overall experience was great. Will visit again.

The whole place was nicely deco which lightening make it look like a cafe. Food pricing on the expensive side but still affordable. The taste of the roasted meat was not bad. Char siew on the sweeter side but nicely marinated & char. Roasted pork skin was crunchy you can hear the ka cha ka cha sound when you bite. And mixed with layered fats which is the best! Roasted duck my friend say ok cos I cannot eat. Overall a great experience. Decided to come again with my a group of friends. Oh ya the service guy (dunno the name) was quite friendly.

Roasts were just slightly above-average, was expecting the place to be very crowded but surprisingly quiet. Perhaps it as a weekday night. Overall experience was pleasant

I love the char siew and roast pork platter as well as the cold tofu dish. Fragrance rice is nice as well although it’s the typical chicken rice but it’s nice. The lotus chips were extremely good. Only the hot soup of the day was disappointing; overall service is extremely good too.

Good Char Siew and Sio Bak, though a tad pricey. Noodles (mee pok with minced pork) are nice too with lots of lard adding flavour.

there were a lot of fatty meat for the pork. but it was yummy tbh. and the price was very reasonable. the tables however was a little too small for a group to sit comfortably.

Overall, the food is 3/5 but not amazing. It's what you expected of normal roasted duck, sio bak and char siew. The char siew is soft, probably sous vide prior to roasting. The toasting formed a crust on the surface which taste a little too caramelized but it didn't taste bitter or burnt. I've ordered ice tea with lychee sorbet, it's a small mug that cost $6.80. Tea with canned lychee sorbet. Better off with canned drinks. Noodles and rice is soft and didn't taste special. I would say noodles are better tasting at famous bak chor mee and rice is better at Boon Tong Kee. It's chicken rice they served. Golden Shrimp Wanton is mushy and probably made with frozen shrimps as there is no sweetness to the filling. The sauce was not served in a sauce dish but one blob on the corner of the plate. Environment is 3/5 too as its generally spacious and the food came fast. Damage is $53 for 2 pax. Verdict: Not worth a second visit as there's nothing to shout about.

Food is so-so. Quite easy to find HK roasted meats that can beat this. Hasn’t tried any dish that can wow. Price is slightly below DXE. What shines is the service. The staff are great. Very friendly and warm.

Reservations recommended as there was a queue even at 8pm! Charsiew was the best out of all the meat though the duck and siobak were great too. Would recommend the rice over noodles as I find that the sauce for the noodles were too oily and made the meal a little gelat. (they use chicken rice!). Atmosphere is perfect for a gathering with friends :)

Food was delicious. Maybe waiter can describe the food portion to us before ordering, ended ordering the same dish twice as we didn’t know the definition of large and x-large....

Ten of us were at the dinner. We were putting in our order through the iPad. One of the female waiting staff took a look at the IPad and informed us that the portion of the mixed roast is for 2 to 3 people. I told her we were ordering two portions and we had other foods too. She was not happy and service was bad after that. During dinner, we had to call her and reminded two times before she accede to our requests. No iced water was served. Food was overrated. The duck is supposed to be boneless but came with lots of bones.

The restaurant was crowded on a Saturday evening, luckily we managed to get a reservation on Quandoo.sg. It is recommended that reservations be made as walk-in have to wait for more than one hour. The char Siew was good, mixture of lean and fatty meat. However; the roast pork was average, the skin wasn’t crispy or crunchy. Some of the dishes were cold when they came. The fried crispy squid wasn’t crispy and cold as well as the salted egg chicken wings and drumlets. The restaurant was short-handed and their iPad ordering system was down. I would also like to mention that their pot of tea is not those Cantonese restaurant tea with loose tea leaves. It’s just two tea-bags and they charge $6.80 per pot. I think they can do better by providing more tea bags or give better tea at that kind of price. Nonetheless, the dining experience was above average, there’s room for improvement. Perhaps to make sure that your staff are more organized than running around and being panicky.

Their signature dish is the char siew and I think it’s really the best! They should mention the type of noodles they serve though. There’s only meepok and we didn’t know because we assumed it’s meekia. They offered to change it for us after knowing that my mum doesn’t eat meepok but they ended up overcharging us (they charged both the noodles and the rice that they offered). But overall we had a great meal.

Roast pork too fatty. Herbal duck not enough herbal taste. Should toast the burger bread to make it more crispy & better presentation. Only char siew is good. Kitchen floor near to toilet very oily & slippery. Very dangerous especially for older people. A lot of clean up to be done. Kind of disappointed with overall food.
