Good service. They accept reservations. What I really love is their tender, tasty mutton ribs. The soup has a strong herbal taste. Recommended to come in big groups and order by ala carte with a small soup($15)
With quality dishes at affordable prices. The food is fresh and tasty. Environment is nice. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Price is reasonable. Overall it's a very good dining experience.
The mutton soup set is good, but the star dish is the mutton skewer. This skewer thing rubbed with the best combination of spices (chili and cumin and who knows what) is so addictive. The version here is full of aroma, though the basic flavours are still there.
Food is not great but good atmosphere. The price is on the high side, probably will not visit again given other better options for next time
Small & cosy place. Food was surprisingly good. Will not hesitate to visit again.
Quality food + good service = Happy diners. Very good priced.
Good food. Non-spicy mutton soup was tasty. Meat was juicy and tender. Room was small but air in not cold enough. Service was ok. Went alone at off-peak hour.
Mutton Broth is really flavourful, the mutton meat tastes really good as well, especially when paired with chilli oil. Service is ok too, pretty attentive.
First time visit to the balestier outlet, place is small, with aircon can only serve 3 round table. food is good and service is acceptable. For mutton lovers, you can consider give it a try.
Fast and friendly service. Staff was observant and offered a replacement bowl quickly after an “accident”, without us requesting for one. Will be back soon.
If you love mutton, this is the place to go. I read other reviews about this restaurant. Saying how soft and tender their mutton ribs are, you must try it to know exactly how tender they are. Their Chilli dipping sauce is mala flavour which we enjoy a lot. Their side dishes are good too! Good dinning place for rainy days. Didn't give full rating because they only have a small variety of steamboat ingredients.
Very good taste, good service, reasonable price (about $30 per person). Except hot pot, these are also dishes provided, which has better fit for all of us.
