tasty as always. we added 4 ingredients into our grill (tau kee, potato slices, cabbage and oyster mushroom). more cabbage can be given though. not as crowded during lunchtime.
Golden Spicy and sour fish not good as mushroom one,and the pear drink also sour.
Have to wait till everyone arrived before we can be seated. The fish is very fresh. Only the flavour (pickle cabbage) we ordered is less delicious from the start, tasty at the end.
Hope waiter can be more friendly. Can pride WIFI to us!
Very nice!Almost each month at least go once with friends!
Food are good, staffs are friendly except for the long queue and crowded space for not so good.
The food was delicious, the soup is quite tasty. Overall experience, it was a great place to have meals with family and also friends. Will come back next time.
it was overall a pleasant experience for me and my friend. friendly service staff and nice quality food served. Look forward to the next visit.
Overall, it was a good experience with Chong Qing Grilled Fish. Food was good, the staff are friendly too! Will definitely recommend to my friends.
It was pretty rush dining at the restaurant as it was crowded but services are quite good. Food is delicious too, will return during non peak hour to enjoy the food at the slower pace.

This restaurant really provide good service and food. Had made me a fan of this place and would want to come back here really soon.
Food were really good and value for money but seating is quite tight and limited.
Delicious and fresh fish. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others if you are a mala lover!
Been going to the Liang Seah St outlet for years. This time I brought colleagues for a lunch celebration. The pickled cabbage base won over the spicy fragrant. But everyone enjoyed the food very much! Keep up the good work!
Tried the fruit fish but don’t really like it. Overall, not bad
Mala is my all time favourite. I have been to Chong Qing Grilled Fish for a few times. Food were affordable and delicious. I would suggest to book in advance to avoid longee waiting time.
Celebrated my birthday there, food is quite spicy but still delicious.
The staff who name Xiao Qian that serve us in a very friendly way. The food is gd but we suggest that they can serve us ice water without charging cos we finished our ordering drinks fast due to the spicy level & is very costly to keep ordering drinks.
The fish is fresh and the spices is definitely worth the try! will definitely visit again
Waiting time for food is ok, service is good because they were attentive to the customers’ needs
Love the food here!! Fragrant spicy grilled fish is THE BEST!!!! Black bean grilled fish was nice too, but fragrant spicy has the kick - if you can take spice / mala!
The Xiang La Grilled fish is good. The servers were attentive to us and the price is quite reasonable too. We will definitely return again.
A satisfied meal with siblings. The place is decorated with Christmas feel. Food was served pretty fast. The food is great. Staffs are very efficient and quick response to our requests.
The food is nice but just a bit salty. Will definitely bring my parents there again. Place is a bit too small cause dinner time a lot of people will start to Q outside.
Fish not properly handled. Lots of fish scales. Other than that everything is alright. I ordered the Ma la flavour. Paid around $67 for 2 person as I added fried bean curd skin, enoki mushrooms and luncheon meat
Foods are nice. I love the fish. Side dishes were put into pot in my previous visit, and this time has changed to be serve aside.
love the fish and how we could add ingredients in this dish. We ordered medium spicy and the taste was sizzling. It wasnt too spicy for me. Fish was v fresh.
Restaurant was packed at dinner time. Quite squeezy as tables were close to each other but food is good. Tried 水果鱼 for the first time and it was good!
Shop at very convenient location, easy to find it. Really like the grilled fish, very nice... Salted Egg Lotus Root $14 in small plate... Overall still ok.
Fish was fresh, portions were not too small. Location was near to bugis street easy to locate. Was a good chinese food experience in Singapore.
Not bad . Good food worth the try. Would introduce frnds to come and try.. just that the la zi ji which we order are mostly dried chilli quantity of chicken was not porpostionate
Always happy with their Awesome food and their Friendly staffs . Just that the tables are so cramped up , we can hardly walk around.
Been here several times. However this time, air con was leaking. Told the waiter and they reluctantly change seats for us. Overall, food is still as awesome!
was greeted fairly quickly and was brought to our seat immediately. Great waitress who explained everything to us and the food came really fast as well. Taste wise, absolutely fabulous! Visited this outlet many times and will definitely visit again!
Food was good, service was prompt. We ordered the spicy fish in medium. The spicyness level was alright albeit it being a little too oily.
