Sufi's is a favorite of ours for mediteranean/Turkish food. The appetizer platter with babaganoesh/humus etc is divine and with lavash almost a full meal for two. However they have plenty of other delicious things on the menu. It's never very busy. Not super touristy like other place on Kampong Glam and I love the tiles on the tables. Price is very decent foe what you get also! All in all we'll go back again and again
Awesome ambience. Got surprise service for a birthday celebration, everyone loved it. Downside, menu needs to be abit more detailed, eg. ingredients used, suitable for how many pax, main or appetiser.... Price is worth it but we were not prepared to get the huge portion as we became superfull after only 1 dish. Wished we got to try more variety of food, if the menu told us how big the portion was
The food was not cooked properly. The kebabs were hard, somewhat burnt. The rice tasted not right. The staff didn't have desert spoons and we had to ask for it. The cooking definitely needs improvement. However, the waiters were attentive to our needs and were helpful in suggesting dishes. We Didn't have to wait too long for the food.
The food was so-so, some of it was abit bland and had not much taste in them. The exterior dining seats was comfy but then the smell of the drainage was a tad strong at times to enjoy the food and we also had an occasional 'lizard' friend whom the waiters named Ryan. They offered to do something about it but we feared it would make things worse i.e. the lizard dropping on our table so we had to leave 'it' alone at the wall staring at us and the food. Also the music was too loud to have a decent conversation and all of us had to speak above our normal tones. The only plus point was a few nice waiters who was served with a smile but you had to speak slowly as most could not understand English much.
Moussaka was enjoyable, albeit a little too oily. Kofte was nothing like I've tried in Turkey. Seemed like a burger patty with meat minced together.
